Cole and winter walked towards the elevator keeping a safe distance, after a very successful meeting. Winter had already taken the time to order a bottle of wine as a form of celebration.

With her son away for a night, she could have alone time with Cole, which she hadn't been able to do for ages.

Either she was avoiding the press or she had to stay hidden to prevent Annie from knowing of her existence.

"That went better than I expected." Said Cole while he took off both his cufflinks, stashing them into his briefcase compartment for cufflinks.

"Of course it did, after all, no one dare to complete with you in the next year's elections. The mayor's office is yours darling." Winter calmly told him, taking off her earrings.

She sauntered over to him, placing her hand on his chest, helping him with his tie. Grinning at him from ear to ear, Cole shot her a Curt smile which lasted two seconds.
