Diana's P. O. V
No, my mind wasn't playing tricks on me West did come in to work today. That's like a miracle! I minded my own business and stood in front of the cash register, not wanting to wait tables today.
West walked up to me, probably to apologise about the alcohol incident that happened earlier, or the Janitor's closet outburst.
"Get off the cash register, go wait the tables." West instructed, expecting me to comply with him. "Um...no." I replied, "go wait the tables." I added, sounding bossy as well.
"Stop being a pest chirper and do as you're told." He ordered me, standing behind the cash register, close to me.
"We can't both work the cash register." I stressed, hoping he'd be smart enough to take the hint and go do something else for a change.
"Exactly, so use your common sense and go wait the tables, a family just walked in, they'll need someone to wait them." He urged, wanting to put his filthy hands on the cash register.
