Chapter 339: 339. The 'historical' discovery.

[The Godly Awakenings: Arc 15]

A 'GINKEN' a weapon which consists itself out of 'Spirituality' and extend another human's power.

These weapons are created upon a Human's birth at which point they're then known as a warrior with a title of 'Spiritual Duelist'.

Over centuries over millions of 'GINKENS' have been born and over a consistent lifespam, these weapon have became known as a tradition that many people end up knowing, their existence requires a strong body, a strong mind and a well durable body and only if a human manages to reach these specific 'importances' the 'GINKEN' will reveal itself and connect upon another's wielder Aura, which is built out of 'Spiritual Force' or in simple ways 'Pressure'.

About 75% of the world's population remain alive with such weapon and 3% of them are known to have Demon Blood, the main source that embraces up a 'Half-Demon'.

In current timeline, a woman - a Godess and the enhancer of the first 'GINKEN' appearances named 'Zero' lurks around the World with 98% of the people unaware about her, and with it, people believe that the World's finally been cleared of Demons, however many of the early-arriving Demons are still standing among the World.

With the snow-white ponders, Tim and Codey had been standing between the pillars which have had some history about the 'Holy Archs'.

"Guys... Look at these writings. It's the same that Zero's scroll has, do you think they're somehow connected to each other?" Wondered Codey, when unraveling the scroll.

"Well, I read these 'ruins' were here for centuries, so I believe that it has the writings that has been used by Gods through generation..." Tim explained, when he calmly moved the snow away from the pillar that had a marks. "It's like symbols, almost memorizing in similar shape as japanese literature. But of course, I can't read them, or specifically, I don't know what they mean, but none of those are words from our literature, not even chinese..." Elliot on the other hand, seemed to have been trying to learn the writing.

"But these markings, it feels as if I've seen them before, but where-" Tim raised his head, once crossing his arms. "Was it some kind of thing involving Ayuka?" But by denial, Tim finally realized. "That's it! The symbols that I saw back at when I lost my control over the 'Inner Fiend'. Before I shattered the barrier, I managed to have a glance of a similar shaped symbol, which I couldn't have read or understood. But it was so fast that I barely even had the chance to react for it and completely ignored it. But why am I remembering this, now?" Tim thought, when looking down at the ice, which was reflecting his face in it.

"You sure that it was the exact same 'language' or literature?" Wondered Codey, hearing the vibrations in the tallest and widest ruin area. "Guys, I don't want to interfere your 'multi-questioning and answering' but, I think we have someone else in there..." Elliot spoke, once gulping. However, Tim and Codey ignored the vibrations for the next several seconds, trying to figure out, however when a loud humble was heard, Codey's eyes became dead like fish, he began to walk toward the vibrations like a zombie, while his irises became fade, and transperent.

"C-Codey, where are you going?" Tim thought with questioned words, while Codey's words kept on humbling. "Tim, I don't think this is casual, there's something that us two don't see or hear, something that's trying to drag him into those ruins." However, while Codey walked toward the entrance, Tim chased him down. "Hey! Wait up!" But the moment he tried to came closer, an invisible bubble, which was surrounding the ruins prevented his entrance and knocked him back.

"Are you all right?" But right when Tim looked back at Codey, two of them had no other way of entering. "Codey! Can you wait up! Where are you even going, stop ignoring us!" But due to their lack of knowledge to what had been going in Codey's mind and ears, his body phased through the wall, like a spirit.

"What in the World's name has just happened?" Both of the two who were left behind, were uncertain of what has been going on and through Codey's mind.

"The vibrations... do you think they got something to do with his switch of direction, maybe we should just leave him." Claimed Elliot, worried and stressed. "Are you crazy? We won't just leave him behind, besides, he's the one with the scroll, not us."

"I guess you've got a point, but why him, why does it not affect us?" Elliot wondered, seeing how Tim tried to reach for the invisible barrier, but as earlier, his arm was pushed back. "There's gotta be some way to get through this barrier, but how I don't know." But right when Tim asked, he became serious.

"Let's try to search for another pathway of entering, let's go."

[Planet Earth - Yasei Ruins - Sunday, 4:50 p.m.]

Elliot crouched and hoped to find an entering, but nothing. "Nothing here, what about you, Tim?" But also denying, Tim stepped up. "We've been searching it for 25 minutes already, and there's nothing we're finding. Keep searching."

[Planet Earth - Yasei Ruins - Sunday, 4:52 p.m.]

Codey was moving through a wide corridor when the pillars continued to halucinate, and the humble that he had been hearing were getting tenser and tenser, louder every other second. When Codey had stepped up the stairs and through the door frame, he came in a view of a pit, which had rocky platforms growing in a line, able to be hopped over, but in the moment the humble stopped, Codey's eyes opened and he was thrown at a new perspective, when the green crystals shined through the ruined cave. "W-where am I?" Codey tried of backing away, but the door frame he came through was unseen. "Hey, guys. Where are you? Can you hear me? Hello!" But without an answer, Codey was put in the line of the platforms, while looking down at the abyss.

"You've gotta be joking me. Can't even tell how I ended up in here, or where even." Codey noticed an open path, surrounded by walls as it was turning, without hesitating, Codey hopped over to the first platform, as it already shook.

By keeping his balance on one leg, Codey pressed his raised leg behind and gulped, when feeling unsafe up the platforms. "This is crucial, one mistake and I'll end up at the bottom of this abyss. I don't even know what lies beneath me, in either case, I prefer to not find out." He carefully continued to hop over and managed to hop on the last, but right as he did, the platform shook and he knew it was unstable, once he quickly hopped over, seeing the platform falling down and piling, he crouched and listened to the noise of them landing, but over 10 seconds of the landing pile, he knew that it was definitely more than he thought. ("The stone speeds up for 9.8 seconds every second, it took 10 seconds for it to drop in total, which means that it makes its speed for around 98 seconds. That's already high speed, it's gotta be deeper more than 50 meters at least." Codey quickly moved through the opened route in the cave and turned in the corner, when he came to a massive gate, standing before him.

"That gate's massive, just for what do they need that?" But when Codey raised his voice, the gate in front of him tensed powerfully when he gulped. "I don't think I wanna find o-" In moments, the gate had began to open when a powerful heat rushed past Codey's body, his eyes were terrified when looking at the 9 statues on each of his side.

four of them were females that were turned to a stone and the next five were males, but Codey understood who they were. "Hold on, those are the 10 'Gods' of the 'Holy Light subordinates';

- Ebus, the God of Darkness

- Myla, the Godess of Fire

- Xidia, the Godess of Ice

- Numesis, the God of Sound

- Erros, the God of Force

- Uda, the Godess of Wind

- Ova, the Godess of Lightning

- Othos, the God of Water

and

- Esteus, the God of Earth..."

"B-But... Are they real, or are these just the samples? And they've been trapped in the 'Mature Stone' which means it's unbrekable for anyone, and even if it were possible, shattering their body would be killing them..." But as he stepped further through the gate, he felt abnormal.

"There's even Qades, the God of Chaos, as well as Duremis, the God of Extermination alongside Quitris, the Godess of the Life. What the hell is this place? And if these Gods are real, who was able to turn them into the stone?" Codey gulpd, when stepping in front of another stoned statue.

"Qhopy, Godess of Hope! And the first ever 'God that had appeared in centuries! How is that possible?!" Codey was unable to be happy about it, when he noticed a writing on the ruins, behind the 'Qhopy'. Codey tried to read it, but it was impossible. "Now I really wish that Zero had been next to us! She could explain to us what these symbols mean or what they represent. When Zero warned us about the 'Godsr' disappearing, was it this that she meant to tell us?" Codey wondered, when sliding the palm over the dusted walls, but right in that moment, he noticed that there were twelve symbols crossed, with one of them not.

"Are these their names written down and crossed? But if so, why's one of them not?" But right when he realized that he saw the same number of the stoned 'Gods' he believed that one was missing. "Zero, the Godess of Light! She must be the one who this symbol presents! Don't tell me that she has somebody that intends to turn her into stone, and even if they do, who the Hell would do such a thing. She's the only reason to why we live to this day!" Codey gulped, once backing away, but right in that moment somebody stepped from behind.

"I see you've found the 'Under Ruins'. How's that possible? Only Demons are able to pass through the barrier." But once Codey turned around, he noticed a woman standing there. "Wait! Are you by any chance a Half-Demon?!" The woman wondered, when making a serious face. "... Tell me, did you do this to them?!" Wondered Codey, when pointing at the Gods. "No, are you crazy? I'm only here to research on the doer of who had done this to them, my name's Kanna Manami, and I'm an investigator as well as a tourist that's trying to uncover the secret to how these Gods were put at rest." Claimed the woman. "However, I haven't got the correct answer yet." She claimed, once reaching for Esteus's stone body, blowing the dust aside.

"But you said that only Demons are able to pass through here, does that mean-"

"Yes, I'm a Half-Demon that managed to escape before the 'Underworld' got 'erased'...." But right in that moment, her eyes shook. "Wait! You're the one who killed the 'God of Demons, Rez! Aren't you! But why would a son kill his own father?!" Manami wondered, when backing away. "W-wait! Calm down! I didn't want to kill him at first! But he killed a friend of mine, so I couldn't just stand by! And on the other hand! That jerk killed my own mother! His life was the only part to which made us feel like prisoners! What? Are you his 'Most Trusted' Guard or something?!" Codey wondered. "If, so! I'll make sure to kill you as well!"

But Manami denied. "No, I was actually trying to research on him, if it was him who turned all of the twelve 'Gods' into the stone! It was my only exclamation as he was able to rival the Godess of Light. I was glad when you killed him, in fact I was lusty for him to be dead! But, by the end of the day, I still have not managed to uncover the secrets that lie behind theeir death... I'm trying to scientifically learn any sort of spell that could stop the 'stone' bodies and return them back to life. But without proper tools or idea, I had no idea! I've been using these 'Ruins' as my hideout, so that nobody would come through! It's a spell that I casted, I couldn't have learned the one to prevent Demons from entering, as it was too difficult to master. So I had to go with the one to where only Demons are able to pass by, more specifically, the ones with the 'Demon Blood'. It was my best hope as most of the Demons have been erased from the World... But, as I said. Even for so many weeks, I haven't managed to receive the proper data on their turned bodies." Claimed Manami, while reading the notes that she wrote in the book.

"Wait, so you're not an enemy to Humanity?" Codey wondered, in confusion. "No, I am not. In fact, I wish for the humanity to stay safe for as long as possible, by retrieving their lives..." She claimed, when a sweat dripped down her head.

"So... W-what was the 'thing' that brought me here?" In confusion, Manami raised her head. "What do you mean?"

"I've been trying to breach these ruins to reach the 'Holy Ruins'... But we were stopped when a sudden humble began flowing around my mind, I ended up here, have you not heard it?" Codey wondered, but unexpectingly, Manami denied.
