GIFTED!

Deities, also known as the Mythological gods, exist. They bestow magical powers to promising mortals, called Gifted, as a form of entertainment. These magical powers are separated into colors that show in the Gifteds' eyes. Becoming Gifted started out as an unnatural phenomenon, where only 20% of the world's population had Gifts. Now, nearly 80% of the population have gifts. Most Gifted will only recieve between 1 and 10 deity gifts bestowed upon them. 1 to 3 being the most common. Those with more, will be recruited into guilds, independent from government. But, the case was different for Lewis Bright. He was abandoned by his parents at birth, and was thrown into foster care. He was in and out of foster homes with nowhere to belong. Lewis was always the quiet kid, avoiding the spotlight, never drawing attention. Until, he became Gifted. Becoming Gifted wasn't unnatural, it was expected of anyone who turned 16, but Lewis, upon turning 16, was not bestowed any gifts, or so everyone thought....
