Chapter 574: Young Man, Don't Try To Fool Me

Lucas reached the hospital after midnight. The visiting hour was over a few hours ago. Occasionally passing by nurses and doctors on night duty, he quietly walked to the ICU where Linda was admitted.

All of the wards were dark, signifying the resting time of the patients. Some of the lights in the communal area were dimmed while the others were switched off.

"Haa..."

Shaking his head, Lucas tried to suppress his yawn from slipping out of his mouth. The energy kept draining from his tired body. He randomly ran his fingers through the hair, dishevelling his appearance more.

Lucas really didn't expect such an emergency to happen on the next day after the first round of the bake-off. Still, he was glad because Richard was already apprehended by the police.

"That bastard..." Lucas cursed lowly under his breath, "Instead of repenting, he ruined himself."
