The mention of Daphne's name stunned Lucas. He hadn't heard anyone bring up her name in front of him in a long time.

Slowly lowering the glass in his hand to the table, Lucas stared confusedly at Allan.

"Did something happen to her?"

While asking, Lucas' voice was imbued with a faint trace of concern.

Lucas still remembered the way Daphne ended their relationship and how she tried to defame him. But, he couldn't bring himself to thoroughly despise her. After all, they did share almost seven years together.

The ending was tainted but, the beginning was beautiful.

Allan exchanged a glance with Louis. He calmly responded to his friend.

"Our classmates talked about her in the group chat. They said she got transferred to a school in her hometown. It has been two months."

Startled, Lucas abruptly asked, "What? When did it happen?"
