Monday, a brand new week began.

"W-what? They fought?"

In disbelief, Liliana blurted out her confusion, eyes staring at the man standing across the kitchen island. Her question prompted laughter out of his lips.

"Yes, they started blaming each other. My brother said it's a pity we couldn't watch it happen," Lucas paused from doing his task. His eyes turned into a gentle curve.

Liliana blinked, slowly registering the story that Lucas had just told her earlier. In a second, she burst out laughing.

"Hahaha! Served them right! They really tore each other apart once they got exposed, huh?"

Covering her mouth, Liliana couldn't help herself from laughing out loud. Her shoulders shook, following the rhythm of her body. Her peals of giggles echoed in the pristine white baking kitchen.

Lucas held back from smiling too much. Sighing in helplessness, he was amused to see such a reaction coming from Liliana.
