Chapter 106: Getting To Know Each Other Better

The greenhouse enclosed the Tropique indoor garden, shielding the flowers and plants from the harsh winter outside. Twinkling lights brightened the interior, reminding one of a fairy tale garden.

Liliana and Lucas sat facing each other at one of the wooden garden tables.

It seemed like Lucas really had much idle time after moving out of his family home, thought Liliana. She had heard about him staying with the pastry chef who he befriended at MoodSpresso.

"Wow, all look so delicious," Liliana couldn't help but praise Lucas as her eyes wandered from one pastry box to the next.

Small cubes of chocolate fudge with nuts, slices of baked apple pie, flaky croissants stuffed with pistachio sauce and slices of butterfly pea cheesecake were presented by Lucas today. Just looking at them sent sparkles to Liliana's eyes.
