Noctis
I sighed in exasperation as I look ahead of myself towards a magnificent structure made of purest ice. After a such a nice vacation I was finally back at the Tsaritsa's Castle or the Fatui Headquarters.
My mission with Arlecchino rapidly approaches and simultaneously my freedom escapes me.
Wait..? We already have the Anemo Gnosis why are we going to Mondstdadt? Wouldn't it be better to go Fontaine or Natlan? What is the Tsaritsa planning this time...
I saw Childe walk into my view and I drew myself from my thoughts about the mission.
Childe was already walking straight to the castle. He was probably trying to say he's back as fast as he can so he can go check up on his family.
Lucky guy...
My family members are either dead or missing. I hope one day we can all reunite and just enjoy a family meal as humans do often.
After watching and living with the humans for the time that I have, I have realised there are many things that I should've done when my family was united.
To be fair,
Were we even truly a family..?
I just wish I could've spent more time into them back then even if we weren't a real family.
I blame it all on Celestia. I only joined the Fatui because they seemed to be going against Celestia. If it turns out The Tsaritsa is truly against Celestia I will support her with all my power.
I will make sure Celestia falls...
Even if it takes ten thousand years.
The Tsaritsa
Arlecchino had stormed out of the room in a fit of range and afterwards Noctis walked in with a look of confusion.
"What's up with her?" he spoke while through the room towards me.
"She has a few worries you could say."
"Worries? About what?" he seemed even more puzzled, I don't blame him Arlecchino isn't normally one to be worried unless it's about her children.
"She thinks instead of being sent on a mission to Mondstdadt she should be sent to Fontaine." I explained calmly.
"Oh..."
"I thought of that as well actually since we already have the Anemo Gnosis but why is she worried about something trivial such as that..?"
"she's not worried about that." He just seemed even more confused.
"She believes she should be sent to Fontaine due to her belief in a prophecy where the people of Fontaine will all be dissolved."
"But why would she have to deal with the prophecy?"
"That's because she believes the Archon is useless but mainly because she originally comes from Fontaine."
"Oh wow. I didn't know she came from Fontaine."
"Is that really all you got from that..." I said dumbfounded
"No, no, I heard she thinks the Archon is useless but I don't really care enough."
"you sure are odd... anyway what do you think of the situation since your meant to be going Mondstdadt with her."
"I've heard a story about a Hydro Dragon that resided in Fontaine." I see so he's more interested in going to Fontaine. That sucks I was going to stick them in a cramped Inn in Mondstdadt and not have them come back until they bonded a bit.
"Fine I will put you guys in charge of finding the Hydro Gnosis and going to Fontaine."
Noctis
I opened a door revealing a much more luxurious bedroom than the one in Liyue. The bed was much larger and had a curtain going all the way round. There was also a massive desk where I could do my Harbinger paperwork on. The room had and insulated and very soft carpet, which was nice since its so cold in this nation...
I also had a very large walk in wardrobe which had all the clothes and accessories the Tsaritsa had bought me. I have no clue why but she is very kind to me.
In addition to what I saw as luxury was a window pointing out to a beautiful mountain range which had been blanketed in snow, the sun was lightly shining above the mountain peaks and streaks of green could be seen splitting the sky.
"I'm quite lucky to spot the Aurora Borealis my first day back" I spoke to my self as I zoned out staring at the beautiful sight.
Two light knocks on my door bring me back down to earth. I slowly walk towards my door taking my time to get there on purpose.
Eventually I open the door and are met with two familiar red cross eyes.
Ugh
"Hey Arlecchino..." I said not really wanting to speak with her since I technically just got back.
"I heard thanks to you The Tsaritsa changed our mission location to Fontaine I'm greatful." Woah she actually sounds sincere...?
"We are leaving tomorrow at 8am sharp meet me outside the front gate of the case if your late. I will kill you." Nevermind, for a second I forgot she hates me.
"Don't worry I won't be late I swear."
"Good" she says and begins to walk away.
I shut my room door and look towards the clock on my wall. It's only 9am but I'm so tired...
A little nap couldn't hurt.
I walked over towards my wardrobe, opened it and begun to observe the many clothes I had been gifted by the Tsaritsa. Eventually I found a comfortable outfit which I could wear for a nap.
I took out the folded outfit and walked toward my bed. Once near my bed I placed the clothes down onto it and begun to take of my current wear.
Oh I forgot to mention my room is connected to a private shower... wait who am I talking to? Never mind...
I had a quick shower and then went back over to my bed to put on the clothes I picked out just a short while ago.
Feeling fresh and clean in my comfortable clothes I jumped onto my bed grabbing both ends of the cover and instantly wrapped my self up tight.
This bed is so much more comfy than the Liyue one. No offense random Liyue Inn.
In a matter of seconds I had fallen into a deep sleep. Not realising what would happen next...
I shot up from my comfortable sleeping position due to a loud crashing sound. from the inside? Of my room...?
I opened the bed curtain to see my door which had been swung of its hinges with a large dent in its centre. Reluctantly I look towards where the door used to be.
Standing where my bedroom door should've been was a monster. No a demon with blood red eyes...
"You're late." Is all she said as blood lust slowly leaked out. I myself slowly looked at my clock 8:02am..? Didn't I go to sleep at like 9am.?
Oh no... don't tell me.
"You slept a whole day!" Arlecchino screamed bloodlust gushing from her as if a dam had been shattered.
I swallowed hard before responding
"Yes... I'm sorry..." She closed her eyes and took in an extremely deep breathe trying to calm her self down but I could sense her bloodlust still gushing from her at an uninterrupted pace.
"Why did I have to be paired up with such an idiot..." she failed at muttering under her breathe and just said it out loud.
"you carry all the luggage of both of us" My eyes widened and instinctively I held my hands together and began thanking whatever God had saved me. Arlecchino just looked at me as if I was an idiot.
"Of course I have no excuse and will carry the baggage." She continued to glare at me before speaking
"Get dressed and meet me outside we leave immediately I have a meeting with the useless Archon and probably the Iedux in just three days." Huh but it takes three days to get to Fontaine? Oh no..
"but doesn't it-" she cut me off before I could finish
"Yes normally it takes three days but we are Harbigners and will go without breaks it will be humiliating if we cannot make it." This woman is going to be the death of me...
As soon as I got dressed and brushed my hair and such we had already set off. The agonising journey to Fontaine begins.
I flopped into the chair on a aqua bus platform taking in a deep breathe as I begun to retrace the journey. The whole time if we weren't on a mode of transport we were running it had been two days and I hadn't had any food or water. How does this woman treat children well but not her own comrades.
I looked at a clock on a nearby wall it was 2am and Arlecchino's meeting was today.
"Hey Arlecchino are you sure we will be able to find an open Inn at this time."
"I guarantee it. Fontaine Relies heavily on tourism so they have many inns open so they can maximise it for profits." That makes sense I heard Fontaine is extremely beautiful but...
"If they have loads of inns for tourism isn't it possible all the inns are full you know of tourists..?" I said as I followed Arlecchino onto the aqua bus which had just arrived.
"That is a possibility" she said as she took a seat opposite to me.
That's great isn't it.
We walked into an Inn and I instantly noticed the receptionist was asleep her head on her desk, next to her was a little bell.
Oh how I envy her.
I will let Arlecchino deal with organising the room.
I slumped down into one of the chairs in the lobby and got myself comfortable while waiting for Arlecchino to finish up.

I tapped on the little Bell next to the receptionist and she shot up in her chair looking all around her in a panic.
"Oh I'm so sorry I must've dozed off. I'm guessing you want a room" she said as she rubbed sleep out of her eyes and yawned.
"Yes we would like two rooms actually."
"Alright leg me just have a look." She blinked a few times before looking through a book with all the rooms and who was in them.
"I'm sorry but we only have one room left." I froze and looked over my shoulder towards Noctis who was slumped over on a chair. The thought of having to share a bed with that thing...
"It does have two single beds though." Thank the Tsaritsa. What a relief.
"That's fine we will take that room for a week for now."
"Alright sure that will be around 20,000 Mora" I handed over the money and took the key before walking a way I said my thanks go the receptionist.
"Come Noctis." I watched as he reluctantly left the chair and drowsily walked over towards me. He held out his hand expecting something.
"What?" I said giving him a look of confusion.
"My room key?"
"Oh. We only got one room." His face went blank and he didn't talk for a while but when he did...
"I going to have to share a bed with you!?" I instantly slapped him.
"Why is that The first thing you think of..!" I said looking at him with disgust.
As we walked up to the room I explained that we have two single beds and as I did I watched the colour return to his face.
Does he really think that badly of sleep next to me?
Noctis
Arlecchino unlocked the room and we both looked inside.
The room had barely anything if I'm being honest. The floor was hard cold wood so I would definitely not be going barefoot. There was one wardrobe which was tiny, I'm glad I didn't bring much. The two tiny single beds which only had about a 6 inch gap between them. Next was the tiny circular table which had enough space to hold a kettle at most.
The room did have its own bathroom but it was really cramped the toilet was right next to the shower and if I stood in the shower my shoulders would touch each side.
Overall this room sucked ass...
"This is gonna be a long mission" I said as I just decided to flop on the bed I claimed ad mine.
(A/N) Uploads won't be consistent at all for a while since I have two weeks of exams that I'm bound to fail.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed.
