Chapter 77: Entering Toho City

Ren stood atop the tree, his gaze directed eastward where the sun began to rise. The light of dawn started to envelop the earth, chasing away the darkness. Nocturnal creatures began their sleep, while diurnal creatures just started their activities.

Two days had passed since Ren and the others escaped from Shiruko's hideout. They managed to survive using a boat built in just one hour.

After fleeing from that place, Ren and the others drifted on the boat for two full days, only stopping occasionally to hunt for food.

After two days on the boat, they finally stopped once they were close enough to Toho City. Some of them, including Hina's team, did not go directly to Toho City but camped a few kilometers away from it.

Now, after breakfast, they were about to start their journey to Toho City.

"Ren, everyone has gathered. Come here." A shout came from below the tree.

Ren, hearing the voice, immediately responded, "Alright, wait a moment."
