Chapter 12: Unlocking Chakra (part 2)
'This can't be true, why would Konoha go against its heroes? But Ryuu can't be lying, I trust him and I know he wouldn't do something foolish if he's this serious.'
"I trust you, what can I do to help?"
Ryuu smiled.
"Alright then since we agree on it, that's not the reason I brought you here I brought you here cause it wouldn't be smart to enter without backup and both of us are strong enough to handle some threats, I'm going to go back to get some things I had left and my family Heirloom wait for me and let me know if someone's coming."
Kakashi nodded as Ryuu entered his house for the first time since the attack.
Ryuu entered without turning off his Sharingan cause he didn't want to let his guard down.
He went straight to his room first.
He was looking for the necklace that his dad had gifted him; he searched everywhere but he couldn't find it so he went into his parents' room.
This was the first time he had entered his parents' room in a long time.
'Everything looks the same…' Ryuu dragged his hand across the bed.
"Except that."
Ryuu saw a giant book on top of their drawer.
He picked up the book and placed it on his lap before reading it.
On the cover of the book, it said:
"Our Little genius."
He opened the book.
"it's blank."
He skimmed through the entire book and found nothing in it.
Just as he was about to close the book, he felt a sudden pain in his finger.
"ow, that hurt, what was that?" droplets of his blood spilled on the book then.
*Poof*
A small cloud of white smoke appeared on the book and everything got revealed.
The book changed its color into a dark red color. On one side was the Uzumaki clan symbol and on the other was the Uchiha clan symbol.
Ryuu read the first page with his Sharingan on,
"Our little genius Ryuu, we are so proud of you and we are so sorry we left you so soon, you're our biggest and best gift by now you've unlocked your Sharingan otherwise you wouldn't be able to read this.
We made this book in case we wouldn't be there to watch you grow up, Hanzo was sure you would awaken your Sharingan and I trusted him.
It looks like he won this bet and I put my trust in the right man as well, anyway, we've sealed some secrets in here as well as some Jutsu's you can learn when you're ready or free, oh and before I forget we put your chain in here to keep it safe, it's much more important than you think.
You can have it back after you unlock your mangekyou Sharingan. That's when everything will be clear."
Ryuu picked up the book and left their room until he was downstairs when he heard Kakashi shouting at him.
"Ryuu, we have to go, root members are here!"
Ryuu took off, and Kakashi followed him from behind.
"Kakashi, this way we will lose them over here."
Ryuu led Kakashi through the forest.
After running for a while, they finally stopped to catch a break.
"I think we lost them."
Ryuu said as he was trying to catch a breath,
"Ryuu, please don't tell me we did all that to get a book?!"
Kakashi said while panting,
"it's not just a book, it holds many things that my parents held for me, ill show you when we get home."
That didn't bother Kakashi,
"We should head back now. The ceremony is about to start. Dad and Hokage-sama are probably on their way now."
Kakashi said.
"Kakashi, I'll only go to see you, but I won't be taking part. I don't care if you don't under-"
"I understand." Kakashi interrupted Ryuu.
"After seeing the lengths that Root members would go to get to you I can't blame you, and either way I told you I'll help you, so after we become great ninjas both of us will take down Danzo and his Root members." He smiled while holding his hand out to Ryuu, Ryuu took his hand and smiled back.
The forest was quiet on their way back. There were no signs of any enemies. Despite that, Ryuu had his Sharingan open in case they encountered any threats.
"Tch!" Ryuu stopped and looked around.
"What's wrong Ryuu?" Kakashi also stopped and asked.
"Be on your guard. I heard something."
He said with a serious tone in his voice.
They both pulled out their kunai.
"You think that would hurt me?" A voice from the trees said.
"Why don't you kids stop playing ninja, Someone might get hurt and I won't hesitate to kill a couple of Brats."
The voice of the man was still moving around in the trees.
"So why don't you come out from wherever you're hiding, unless you're scared a bunch of kids can take you on!" Ryuu said, hoping he would provoke the attacker so that he would finally reveal himself.
"That's it. I'm tired of this game. It's Time you kids learned a life lesson!"
"whoosh" He suddenly appeared in front of Kakashi. Ryuu saw him with his Sharingan and threw 3 kunai at him
one was to throw him off and miss the other two were in sync with each other so he could only see one He caught the first one then the second one came out of nowhere but he still reacted in time and he caught it as well, Unfortunately for him he fell right into the trap.
Ryuu smirked, The Root attacker saw this and looked at the tag and panicked as he threw it away he forgot about Ryuu and Kakashi, Ryuu took this opportunity and started running towards him at full speed, The attacker wasn't fast enough to react and suddenly Ryuu jumped and led with his right foot.
"Dynamic entry!" "BOOM!" The force from Ryuus' Dynamic entry was so powerful it destroyed dozens of trees before finally stopping.
"Hey Kakashi, you ok?" Ryuu asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I don't think the other guy is though." He pointed at the Root member on the ground.
"Anyway, what was that move back there?"
Kakashi asked curiously.
"Oh, it's this taijutsu move that Sarutobi-sensei taught me a while back. I can teach you later." Kakashi nodded while smiling.
"Man, I'd hate to be the other guy."
They heard a voice from on top of the trees.
"Don't you tire of appearing out of nowhere?" Ryuu knew who it was.
Jiraiya appeared in front of the two.
"We have a lot to talk about, Ryuu. It's about your parents." Ryuu nodded.
"Let's talk then."
Jiraiya realized Ryuu had already told Kakashi, so he just continued.
"Let's go somewhere secluded."
Ryuu and Kakashi nodded in agreement. Jiraiya did some hand signs and said "Ninja art toad mouth trap."
Suddenly, the whole place started turning into some kind of flesh, taking the three of them inside. Ryuu and Kakashi were speechless, then Ryuu finally asked, "Jiraiya what is this jutsu?"
He was curious to know.
"No time for that, Ryuu. I was looking for you here to talk to you about your family's incident, but we barely have time for that now.
That will have to wait till after the ceremony, before you say anything, I'd like to tell you that neither Danzo nor his Root members will be there and Sarutobi-sensei made sure that the root will disband today.
Now, because of the root attacking, there might be consequences, but the old man would never kill his old friend."
Sigh
"Anyway, let's go to the ceremony. It's starting, my toad should already be there by now."
Ryuu smiled, but his smile didn't last long because he knew that wasn't enough to stop Danzo.
"Reverse summoning Jutsu!"
*Poof*
They appeared in the Hokage estate in a white cloud.
"What took you guys so long?"
Ryuu heard a familiar voice.
They turned around and saw Sakumo in the middle of the training grounds.
"Dad!" they both yelled as they ran to hug Sakumo.
"After this, you guys will have to tell me what you were doing."
He said as he smiled at them.
"Anyway, you guys came right on time. Hokage-sama and some guests should arrive soon, although I wanted you guys here a little earlier. This is fine, too."
Ryuu was more focused on the guests that were coming.
"What guests are coming?" Ryuu asked curiously.
"Oh, don't worry about it Ryuu it's just Ino-Shika-Cho, The Hyuga, and the Uchiha clan heads, the talk about you and Kakashi raised the attention of almost everyone in Konoha so they wanted to be here to witness the ceremony, I hope you and Kakashi don't mind."
'None of them have ever bothered me, as long as Danzo isn't here.'
Ryuu and Kakashi sat patiently waiting for the guests to arrive.
After a while Ryuu became impatient, and just as he was about to ask where they were, he heard a voice.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting. I had some business to attend to."
The Hokage arrived with the other clan heads by his side.
"No problem Hokage-sama." Sakumo Said.
"Now I'm sure that the children are eager to unlock their chakra, we mustn't make them wait any longer." Sakumo nodded, "Kakashi, you go first. I want to see you unlock your chakra first."
Kakashi nodded, Sakumo followed Kakashi as he sat down with his legs crossed.
He handed him a scroll and Said
"Read this scroll and memorize what's on it, tell me when you're done."
He threw the scroll at me and told me, "You too, Ryuu, read and memorize what's on this scroll." Ryuu nodded, then did as he was told. After a minute of reading and memorizing, he finished.
"I'm done." this shocked everyone and looked at him with curiosity.
'After I finished, I opened my Sharingan and started looking around at my surroundings for any signs of Danzo.
Five minutes later Kakashi finished too.
"I'm done."
It surprised everyone to hear this.
Usually, even Prodigy Children took over 10 minutes.
"Great work you two, now Kakashi just do as the scroll told you to do and I will help you complete the cycle."
Kakashi nodded and closed his eyes. Sakumo placed his hand on his back and released some chakra.
"Kakashi, follow the pathway and complete the cycle."
Some crackling sounds came from Kakashi's body. He was sweating a little,
Boom! a minor explosion occurred, and some cracks appeared on the floor.
(I'm making Kakashi have a chakra and skill boost, his training with Ryuu should push him to improve further than the manga and/or anime, I'll do this for some characters, not just him.)
