Chapter 32: Unexpected and Unwanted Return.
Both Ryuu and Kakashi were panicking cause they didn't know how to turn off his new abilities.
"I don't know if I should see it as being fortunate or take it as an insult that you didn't come looking for me."
A familiar voice in the background spoke.
"Impossible!" Ryuu Remembered who it was.
"How did you sneak past my sensory ability?" Ryuu asked
"I'm a man of many secrets. Don't tell me you've forgotten me? And I thought we had a connection in our first fight."
He mockingly said.
"Well, at least now there's an audience, right? In fact, it's even one of my former students, Kakashi Hatake, son of the white wolf. You showed great promise."
Ryuu and Kakashi realised who they were talking to.
"You!" They both said.
He revealed himself as he stepped out of the shadows.
Krueger Nakamura he's back!
"Oh, relax. I'm not here to harm you. I'm not here to fight. However, if you do anything I see as a threat, unfortunately, I'll have to take extreme measures."
Ryuu and Kakashi's eyes widened, and they frowned.
"Fine, just tell me one thing." Ryuu said.
Krueger lifted his eyebrows.
"I have to admit I expected you to at least fight back and use your new power against me, that would surely be fun, but seeing how well you're cooperating with me it will be cowardly of me if I was to decline your request, fine go ahead and speak however I already know what you want to ask, You want to know if I let you win don't you?"
Ryuu's eyes widened, and he raised his eyebrows.
I didn't think he'd know what I wanted to ask.
Ryuu nodded.
"Of course I let you win. What's the point of a grown killing or fighting against a child? It is dishonourable. Any harm against a child can't be tolerated, Ryuu, did you really believe that genjutsu could've harmed me? If I wanted to I could've easily reversed the effects on you, although I have to admit, your skills in genjutsu are truly powerful, if it were a regular shinobi that could've been fatal for them but clearly I'm not a regular shinobi am i?"
Ryuu was shocked.
"Out of all the answers, I didn't expect all that. You said you aren't here to harm Kakashi and I, so why are you here?" Ryuu asked.
"Hmph, given our previous encounter, I don't expect you to believe me or trust me, but I am here to help you."
Both Ryuu and Kakashi were speechless and stunned.
"The last time I was here I came to test your abilities, and get to know you, you're the son of Hanzo Uchiha a deadly shinobi capable of taking down a kage and someone who I truly hate, but you misunderstood me, I do not hate you, in fact you remind me of someone I used to know, but that doesn't matter."
Ryuu frowned and curled his fist.
"My father was a he-"
"Your father was a SCUM!"
Krueger's sudden burst of rage shocked Ryuu, but he quickly calmed down and calmly asked.
"Those wounds, did you get them from him?"
Krueger looked stunned and looked back at Ryuu while holding his wounds
"That doesn't matter, now do you want my help or not?"
That's right, he came here to help.
"And how could you help me? What do you want in return?" Ryuu asked.
"You're a smart kid, those would be the right questions to ask if I was an enemy but fortunately I don't want anything back from you, and I want to help you with your new power, I bet you're finding it hard to return to normal."
Ryuu nodded
"Well, now that you know my intentions, I'll ask again. Do you want my help or not?"
Kakashi pulled me back just when I was about to answer.
"Ryuu, I hope you're not thinking about making a deal with this guy. He's an enemy of the village and also how do we know if he even knows how to help?"
Krueger started walking towards us and said.
"Like I said, you show great promise Kakashi Hatake, even though Ryuu's a genius he makes decisions to quickly without thinking about small details that could help, he will need to learn a few things from you anyway, I didn't plan on revealing this just yet but, I'm unharmed and we haven't fought, I call that progress so I guess I'll show you a secret of mine and why I can help."
He lifted his left hand, then clenched his fist. Yellow sparks of fire started appearing on his fist and fire crawled its way up much faster than Ryuu, covering his entire hand in almost an instant, but his fire was different and his was red.
"What? How?" Ryuu was speechless.
The book said I'm the only one who can do that.
"What, you didn't think you're the only one who has this ability, did you?"
Ryuu and Kakashi were speechless.
"Fine, I need your help."
He nodded Kakashi just looked at Ryuu.
"This power, its controlled by your spiritual energy and will power that's how you increase your power in this form.
Command it, once you've ignited the flames, they will always come to defend you subconsciously when someone or something tries to harm you and, after some training, you can use it in combat.
To fix your problem right now is easy. All you have to do is command it to leave. Such a simple thing like water can not put flames out, otherwise they would be quite useless against a Waterstyle user, but they will follow your will."
He held his hand out and all the flames went into his arm they disappeared Into Ash and part of his arm looked like a cocoon he flexed his arm and the. cocoon broke, his arm was perfectly fine.
"Ryuu anytime you retract the flames as you can see you'll go into a state like a cocoon, when you do this it helps you recover from all injuries and even restores your chakra and all other energy especially if you do a full body transformation I'm sure you wouldn't need this because you already have an incredible healing factor and chakra but just in case you need it you have this option."
Ryuu tried to command the fire just like him and it worked Ryuu could feel it getting weaker than before just like Krueger's it disappeared into Ash and surrounded him in a cocoon except his was on his chest he felt like sand was attaching into his skin then he flexed and all of it crumbled, Ryuu could feel all his energy comeback.
"Anyway, I have little time here. I have to go now."
He turned back and walked away.
"Wait!" Ryuu said just before he got far.
"Huh? What do you want now? I'm a busy man and I have many things to do instead of helping you out."
"I have two more questions. You don't have to answer the second. One, that's my way of paying you back for helping me out." I said.
"Fine, then. What seems to bother you now?"
He said.
"The last time we fought, I hadn't developed my healing factor, so how did you find out?"
He looked away and said.
"Ryuu your mother was an uzumaki she already had incredible healing factor, but she was special, by your age she had greater chakra than even the clan leader of the uzumaki so I figured you would have something close to hers, why do you think she could leave the village, she was special in her village, losing her would be like losing their jinchuriki in fact her healing was the closest thing to Hashirama senju the only difference was that she had a time limit on her ability."
"I guess that makes sense."
Ryuu said as he placed his finger on his chin, thinking about it
"Now, for my last question. You clearly aren't Krueger Nakamura, so who are you and why are you interested in me?"
Sigh He sighed like he was bored and said.
"My time to reveal myself to you hasn't come, but in due time I will, not now, also the only reason I'm interested is because you remind me of someone I won't say anything else now I must go I'm already late,
Kakashi Hatake, you shouldn't limit yourself by staying in the academy. We all know you're far better than anyone there, anyway. I'm off."
He disappeared immediately after saying that.
"Man, that guy is kind of creepy, right Ryuu?"
Kakashi asked Ryuu, but he didn't even hear him as he was contemplating, thinking about Krueger.
"Ryuu, snap out of it."
Kakashi shook him
Ryuu stopped thinking about it and looked at Kakashi, then said.
"What was that for Kakashi!"
"You're doing that thing where you overthink and start ignoring everything."
"But…" Ryuu was speechless when he realised it's true.
"That doesn't matter. Let's go home." Kakashi nodded.
Ryuu grabbed his shirt and the empty bucket, then he placed his hand on Kakashi's shoulder. They both teleported back to their house.
"That's just great. I don't have another shirt, Kakashi. Can I borrow one of yours until I get mine cleaned?"
Ryuu said as they were preparing themselves to meet up with Minato and the rest.
"Sure thing, catch." He tossed his shirt to Ryuu, and he caught it and put it on.
"Alright, let's go Kakashi, wait! Have you written a note for Dad just in case he comes back before us?"
Kakashi nodded.
Ryuu and Kakashi took off to the Restaurant...
