Chapter 114: Testing Kakashi's Sharingan
Whoosh!
Multiple Anbu members appeared around Minato.
"Hokage-sama, what's happening? Was there an attack?"
Minato shook his head.
"I was just doing a little training with Ryuu, that's all."
"A little training did this?" Ryuu smiled shyly.
"I guess you can say your new jutsu is finished, right Minato?" He smiled and nodded.
"Hokage-sama, I'm off to training with Kakashi."
Minato facepalmed.
"For the last time, just call me-"
Ryuu teleported with Kakashi to the next training ground.
Ryuu had arrived with Kakashi.
"Kakashi and Ryuu? My eternal rivals!" Guy jumped to his feet.
"Guy? What a coincidence to find you here."
"You liar, you can sense his chakra from miles away, but can't do it when he's still this close? I don't buy it." Ryuu scratched his head shyly.
"Well, you're right, but I came here to test out your eye, I want to see how far your training has gone, so I brought you here so that you and Guy can fight me.
Plus, I want to see how well your Sharingan does in combat."
Guy folded his fist and pumped it in the air.
"The mighty green beast of the leaf and Kakashi of the Sharingan vs the Phoenix King of the leaf, what a way to show off the power of youth! If I can't beat you, I'll do 2000 laps around the village with my hands!"
He had tears in his eyes.
"Let's just get this over with," Kakashi said nonchalantly.
"Wait before we start, Shisui, you should probably move away from here, things can and will get messy."
Shisui was heading to the training grounds.
"I came here 'cause I heard you messed up training ground 3." Ryuu shyly scratched his head.
"It wasn't that bad, you know."
Shisui smiled.
"Anyway, I heard you say something about fighting these two together, can I watch?" Ryuu nodded.
"As long as you stay somewhere safe." He nodded.
Shisui used the body flicker jutsu to get on top of a hill.
"Alright, are you two ready?" Kakashi took out his sword while Guy got into his stance.
"Let's go." Ryuu started the charge, he attacked Kakashi first.
Kakashi dodged all his kicks and countered by swinging his Katana.
Ryuu blocked it and redirected it to Guy, Guy dodged it and launched a kick towards Ryuu.
Ryuu caught his kick and launched him into Kakashi, they hit each other but Kakashi helped Guy find his balance, and once again they were in a fighting stance.
"We have to come up with a plan before facing him, he isn't even trying."
Guy nodded as Kakashi spoke.
"Dynamic entry!" Both Guy and Kakashi launched a flying kick toward Ryuu.
Ryuu quickly did hand seals.
"Mud wall!"
An enormous wall came out of the ground.
Boom!!
They almost broke through the wall.
They had repelled into a backflip and stood beside each other, ready to fight again.
"That was close."
Ryuu backed away from the wall and quickly did hand signs.
"Water style: water bullet jutsu!" Ryuu shot out multiple giant bullets made of water at the wall, and the wall started becoming moist and turned into mud.
"Fire style: phoenix flower jutsu!" Ryuu threw multiple shurikens and lit them on fire, then targeted them towards Kakashi and Guy, they dodged the shurikens and got away.
Kakashi activated his Sharingan.
"He can control the Sharingan?" Shisui asked as he watched.
'This should be interesting, Kakashi by himself is fast enough, but now adding the Sharingan makes me excited.' Ryuu said to himself as he stared at Kakashi.
Kakashi entered lightning chakra mode, his version didn't focus too much on defense, but more on speed.
Ryuu activated his Sharingan to keep up…
"Don't forget, I have permanent seals on both of you."
"Purple Lightning!" Kakashi appeared in front of Ryuu within a second and directed his Purple Lightning to Ryuu's chest.
Ryuu grabbed his hand.
He slammed him to the ground.
"Don't forget who taught you that jutsu."
Kakashi turned into a log of wood.
"Hmph." Ryuu scoffed.
"Sensei is so cool, he's taking on two elite shinobi by himself and hasn't dropped a sweat yet."
Shisui said as he observed from afar.
"4th gate of pain, open!" Guy's skin became red and a green vapor released, making his hair stand up and his pupils disappeared.
"Alright Guy, I'll play with you."
Ryuu opened the 4th gate and deactivated his Sharingan.
They charged at each other, and both of them appeared in front of the other in a second.
Boom!
Their fists clashed, leaving a massive shock wave caused by their hands.
Shisui held on to the ground as he felt he was being pushed back by a shock wave.
They attacked each other, Shisui tried keeping up with them but would get lost because of their speed.
All he saw was two green auras, clashing and leaving shockwaves.
'What the hell is this jutsu?
It's so powerful and fast, this must be the eight inner gates. Ryuu-sensei talked about it once.'
Ryuu was winning in their clash because Guy's body was giving up, he hadn't mastered that gate, unlike Ryuu.
"Alright, it's time I find Kakashi."
He closed his gate and ran after Kakashi.
'I don't want to ruin the fun by teleporting to him, so I should look for him on foot.'
He said before reaching Kakashi; he had his Sharingan on.
"There you are." Ryuu threw multiple shurikens at Kakashi.
"Shuriken shadow clone Jutsu!"
They separated into multiple shurikens.
Kakashi entered lightning chakra mode and dodged them.
"Water dragon jutsu!" He shot out a massive dragon at Ryuu.
Ryuu jumped to the left side, dodging the dragon.
Cling!
"Shit!"
Ryuu tripped on a wire but quickly teleported to Guy.
"That was close." Ryuu touched his forehead.
"I'm sweating?" He smiled.
"Argh!" Ryuu was stunned when he looked beside him and Guy turned into lightning, shocking him.
"I see." He looked around for Kakashi and Guy.
"Purple Lightning!" Kakashi launched another attack on him from underneath.
"Too slow." Ryuu teleported using his Mangekyou Sharingan.
Shisui's eyes widened.
'This is getting good.'
He said as he watched closely.
Ryuu teleported above Kakashi and swung his kunai, he was slower because of the shock he was given.
Kakashi blocked it with purple lightning, which caused Ryuu's kunai to break.
Ryuu's eyes widened.
Kakashi then kicked him, causing Ryuu to use his teleportation again.
"Fireball Jutsu!" He shot out a massive fireball toward Kakashi.
"Earth-style: multiple mud wall!"
Enormous walls emerged from the ground, blocking Ryuu's fireball.
'These walls have more chakra added and are far denser than his usual ones. Alright Kakashi, let's see how good these walls are.'
A blue spiral of chakra built up on his hand, it was bigger than his usual one.
"Giant Rasengan!"
Boom!!!
The walls crumbled as Ryuu's Rasengan hit them.
Kakashi moved away, his eye spun around, and formed his Mangekyou.
"Finally." Ryuu threw his shurikens.
"Kamui!" Kakashi aimed it at Ryuu, Ryuu teleported to all of his markers, making him look like a ball of yellow lightning, confusing Kakashi.
His movements confused Kakashi.
"Alright, I give up." Kakashi put his Katana and Kunai down.
"Already?" Kakashi nodded.
"Alright, at least that was fun," Ryuu said.
Ryuu healed Kakashi and Guy while Shisui came down.
"That was amazing Sensei!" Ryuu smiled.
"Well, that's nice to hear from you Shisui." Ryuu finished healing both Kakashi and Guy.
Guy jumped up and went on his fingers.
"Is he really going to do all those laps on his hand?" Ryuu nodded at Shisui.
"So, how'd I do?" Kakashi asked.
"You're doing well, all you need now is to get used to using that Sharingan and also work on your Mangekyou, I already copied it. Maybe we can work on it together another time." Kakashi nodded.
"Let's go back to Minato-sensei."
Ryuu nodded.
"Shisui, let's talk later, I have something for you." He smiled.
"What do you have for me?"
"A gift that I'll give you later." He nodded.
Ryuu teleported with Kakashi back to Minato's office.
"Huh? Back already?" Ryuu and Kakashi nodded.
"Well, it's perfect timing. I have a mission for you, Ryuu." Ryuu nodded.
"For weeks we've been tracking this rogue ninja, he betrayed the leaf by selling information to Iwagakure during the war.
He made some money off it and now uses it for gambling and expensive restaurants.
He was a Tokubetsu Jonin during his time here and a veteran, having fought during the third and second wars.
His name is Ren Sataro, a master at wind style and earth style.
Be careful, he also knows a few forbidden jutsu and has influenced the minds of others."
Ryuu nodded.
"The last we saw him, he passed by a small village in the land of ancestors, it's between Konohagakure and Kumogakure.
I wanted you to go for him because you can reach him quicker than anyone I know.
I want you to assassinate him as covertly as possible and find out some information on him, his dealers, and followers, we aren't sure how much information he's given out so try to find that out too."
Ryuu nodded.
He put on his mask and left.
'Before I go, I have to give Shisui his gift.'
Ryuu knocked on his door.
"Come in." Ryuu entered.
"Shisui, I came here to give you this." Ryuu unsealed a chest that had something inside.
"What's inside?"
"Open it." Shisui nodded.
He opened it, and Ryuu wrapped something in a red silk cloth.
He unwrapped it and his eyes widened, glistening in awe.
"A custom-made Tanto blade, made with my ashes, they can be used as an extension of my sensory abilities and I use them as a teleportation seal too, not to mention they're really sharp and strong, and they can be coated in all nature transformations, making them incredibly versatile in combat.
Have fun using it, I can't wait to see what you come up with once I return, I trust you'll never let me down Shisui."
"Thanks a lot, sensei."
Ryuu ruffled Shisui's hair and then put his mask back on.
"Well, I have to go now, I have a mission."
Ryuu left his house and teleported to the borders, headed to the land of ancestors.
He activated sage mode.
"Alright, it's time to find you."
