Chapter 158: Tenzo (Part 3)
[AT: Before you begin this chapter you should know that this arc happens 2 years ago but I lost this chapter and it messed things up because I realised late.

2 Years ago...
Sakumo called Ryuu and Kakashi to his office.
"Where's Kakashi?"
"Probably on the training grounds with Obito. I told him I'll get him before we leave." Sakumo nodded.
Ryuu teleported to training ground 3.
"Hey, Kakashi! Obito!" Ryuu waved at them.
"Oh, hey Ryuu, how's it going?" Obito asked.
"Well, everything is alright, how about you?"
"Same here, we were training with Kakashi here."
"I see…" Ryuu looked at Kakashi.
"Is it time to go?" Ryuu nodded.
Ryuu and Kakashi walked to the Hokage's office.
They reached the Hokage's office and knelt, awaiting orders.
"You're aware that Orochimaru has secret research labs all across the country, aren't you?"
"Yes," Kakashi responded.
"After he deserted the village, he destroyed many of them, hiding his trace.
But we've discovered some that he kept intact.
There are most likely more than the ones we've found.
While on a mission, a small battalion of shinobi stumbled upon Orochimaru's secret lab."
"I'm guessing it's too dangerous for them to investigate on their own."
Sakumo nodded.
"I trust you will say nothing about what Orochimaru did to the people's friends and family.
It will be disturbing to see the reactions to what happened to their friends and family." Ryuu and Kakashi nodded.
"I trust you two can take care of this."
"Yes, sir." They both answered.
Kakashi and Ryuu began running toward the shinobi's last location.
Ryuu was stealthily following Kakashi, using transparent jutsu.
"Kakashi, there's something you must know."
Kakashi looked at Ryuu as they both ran.
"There are two people following you.
They've been following you since I arrived at the training ground, it's why I'm being stealthy."
"Should we do something about it?"
"No, let's see what they want, we could always find something new.
Besides, one of them is our old friend Tenzo." Kakashi nodded.
Whoosh… whoosh… they continued traveling on the trees, using the body flicker to enhance their speed.
Ryuu and Kakashi arrived at Orochimaru's secret lab.
'It was hidden in a secret entrance that looked tunnel-like.
I entered first, and I used my Sharingan to look around.
Kakashi followed closely, his Sharingan was also active.'
"Over here, a seal." Ryuu walked over to Kakashi.
"That's the entrance, that seal probably has a trap, we must be careful."
Kakashi stated as he observed the seal.
It was a red seal tag on a stone door.
"Step back, I'll unseal it." Ryuu formed a hand sign, and he deactivated the seal, the red color faded away and it was deactivated.
Ryuu's eyes widened.
The seal was glowing, and it was about to explode.
"Wood style!" Ryuu controlled the wood to cover him and Kakashi.
Boom!
A minor explosion occurred inside a wood dome.
Ryuu looked back.
"I didn't do that.
That means…" Ryuu spotted a boy with spiky brown hair could be seen
from the cracked wall.
"Tenzo?"
"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Ryuu smiled.
"If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here?" Kakashi asked.
Tenzo looked away.
"Kakashi, Tenzo has a seal placed on him, that doesn't allow him to speak about his missions or Danzo's intentions."
Kakashi nodded.
"Well, it's good he's here, otherwise you would've probably died." Ryuu shook his head.
"It would take a lot more than that to kill me."
"Sigh."
Kakashi continued walking.
"Hold on Kakashi."
Kakashi stopped walking.
"Let's work together, we can cover more ground and gather Intel faster together.
After that, we can share the Intel with each other."
"Ryuu's right, we may work on different foundations, but we're still from the same village." Ryuu nodded, supporting Kakashi's statement.
"Right, who knows what we'll find here? Snakes or monsters." Tenzo stated.
They continued to search the lab.
"It seems that the only trap was that one at the entrance," Kakashi suggested.
"Right." Tenzo agreed.
He held a kunai and gripped it tightly.
Ryuu and Kakashi quickly glanced at each other, noticing the odd behavior.
They continued walking inside the lab, Orochimaru used red lights, the wall was made of bricks and he shut most doors.
They carefully entered another room.
Ryuu went on ahead, using Kamui to make himself invulnerable.
"It seems Orochimaru wanted to leave this place in a hurry," Kakashi stated to Tenzo.
Everything was in a mess, only a few things were missing.
"There's nothing in here." Tenzo stated after reading the notes.
They were all useless notes, none of them had anything important or revealing.
"What was Orochimaru working on here, anyway?" Kakashi asked as he read another file.
"Probably indulging in his specialty.
Experimenting on humans."
Tenzo widened his eyes.
