Chapter 43: Ryuu Vs Fuguki Suikazan!
"Fire style Fireball jutsu!" Ryuu sent a large fireball to Fuguki, he split it with Samehada
"Ninja art: needle senbon!" His hair hardened and shot out multiple senbon, Ryuu took out a kunai and deflected some of them, he was too fast and dodged the rest with ease, he threw 5 kunai on the ground.
"His jutsu allows him to teleport where he left his kunai so If I time this next move where he lands I'll take him down," Fuguki said to himself but little did he know, Ryuu had other plans.
"Multi-Shadow clone jutsu!" He created 5 clones.
"Damn this will be harder than I thought but I can still get him with a large attack."
"Water-style water wall!" He blocked Ryuu's path to him.
"Too easy." Ryuu snuck up behind him, just as he was about to kill him with a kunai Samehada blocked it.
"You must be the real one!" He stabbed Ryuu in the gut. Ryuu turned into lightning shocking him causing him to get stunned the real Ryuu came and kicked him into the water wall he had put behind him making it worse.
"Water release users can be a little predictable." He said as he walked off.
Just before he walked off he heard crumbling from the wall where Fuguki Suikazans body hit.
"Damned kids these days are too powerful for their age." He said as he slowly stood up.
"Samehada, get him!" He swung Samehada, it stretched towards Ryuu,
Ryuu was able to dodge it but was nearly hit with it.
"Ninja art: silent killing!" A mist formed around the whole tunnel.
Of all the jutsu he could've used, this one is the worst. With my sensory abilities, I can tell exactly where he'll be.
Ryuu took a kunai
Fuguki made a clone, it was supposed to confuse Ryuu but he sensed it, he didn't waste any time and went straight for Fuguki, he threw a kunai at Fuguki who was shocked and he had no time to react.
"Flying Raijin Slash!"
Ryuu teleported to him as he cut his stomach open.
"Fine, it seems you're not as weak as I thought you were." He said as he was coughing out blood.
"Samehada now!" Samehada fed him all the chakra he had stored up and the chakra he stole from Ryuu, all the wounds he had after fighting Ryuu started closing up, his face and body started looking similar to that of a shark and he grew fins, sharper teeth, and webbed hands.
"Honestly this is kind of an improvement on your part."
He gritted his teeth and attacked me.
"His speed has increased but not fast enough, although if he gets me once I'll be done for, I have to use that technique, and if I'm being honest I've wanted to use it from the beginning."
Ryuu had a wicked smile while he said that.
"Fine, since you get a level up, so do I. It's time to show you the results of my training with Duy-sensei! Eight inner gates, gate of life open!"
Ryuu's skin became red, his hair stood up and he had veins all over his body.
"With my Sharingan and the third gate, I'll be too fast for him." He said to himself.
He tried attacking Ryuu but Ryuu's speed and strength had increased greatly and with the Sharingan on his reflexes surpassed him by far.
"Dynamic entry!" Ryuu kicked him and sent him flying back, even breaking through the walls and leaving a trail of air because of the force.
As he woke up he coughed out some blood and held his head.
"his bond with the sword isn't strong enough to handle Samehada's abilities, or maybe he just doesn't like his chakra."
Ryuu held him by the neck and told him.
"I won't kill you here, but if you want to leave without more damage I suggest you don't ever get in my way, otherwise I will not only take away your life but I'll also take your sword with me.
be careful we don't cross paths again, it's not my responsibility to kill you but I'll come back for that sword of yours, speaking of, where is it?"
"Whoosh!" Ryuu dodged and grabbed Samehada as he tried sneaking up on him.
He bit Ryuu's arm and started draining his chakra.
"Get off!" Ryuu said as he was trying to shake him off.
Samehada was growing bigger and bigger he grew so big he started looking as big as Fuguki himself.
Ryuu used Phoenix Flame on his arm to get him off. Samehada immediately stopped and detached himself from Ryuu's arm.
"I've never seen samehada grow that much, he even tried forcing himself onto you, how much chakra do you have?"
"That doesn't matter to you."
He used genjutsu on Fuguki to get information from his memories, after that Ryuu teleported without giving him a chance to speak.
When he came back he found Shikaku and Choza had cleared almost everyone in the arena.
And now only Kurai Matsummo and two people stood in their way.
"So, you've returned it's perfect timing I was just about to kill your teammates but this time…"
In the blink of an eye, Ryuu teleported behind him, stabbed him through his chest, and killed the other two people surrounding him.
He put him in a genjutsu and gathered information, after he got what he wanted he snapped his neck to finish him off. He looked at Choza and Shikaku.
"Shikaku, Choza, let's go back home, I'm bored." He nonchalantly said.
Everyone in the room was silent, and their jaws dropped in horror.
Ryuu grabbed the two and teleported them out of there and back into the hotel.
"Ryuu, what's wrong?" Shikaku asked.
Ryuu was packing his things.
"Nothing, it's just…"
Ryuu hesitated for a bit.
"That fight was easy!"
Shikaku and Choza were shocked, out of all the answers they didn't expect that!
"Ryuu, you fought one of the seven ninja swordsmen of the mist and you got angry because it was too easy!"
Ryuu nodded.
"I don't even know how to react," Choza said while shaking his head.
After packing, Ryuu, Shikaku, and Choza waited for Tsunade to come back with Shizune and Kenji.
"It's getting late."
Ryuu didn't want to waste time so he packed things for Kenji.
Ryuu sensed them coming.
"I can't believe I have to say goodbye to Tsunade." He said to himself.
"Ryuu, you made it back!" Kenji was excited to see Ryuu alive and well.
"Lady Tsunade, take this before I forget." Ryuu handed her a kunai with his seal on it.
"You told me you'll teach me medical ninjutsu I'll come back whenever I'm available, so don't get too comfortable without me." He jokingly said.
She smiled back and hugged him.
"I can't believe my head touched that legendary chest, I would give my life to experience this all over again, do I have to leave?"
Ryuu thought to himself, he was getting red and his head was hot.
Shikaku, Choza, and Kenji stared at him, making fun of his face.
"Oi, loverboy let's go." Kenji pulled Ryuu from Tsunade's arms.
"Wait, I don't want to leave!" He tried crawling his way back but Shikaku and Choza helped Kenji.
Tsunade and Shizune were just laughing.
Ryuu teleported them back to the Sato mansion.
"Well Kenji, it's time for us to part ways I guess, although, I'll miss your company and our shared love for ramen, come by the village sometime and if you need any help just ask for me, don't be an idiot and try do it all by yourself, you have a friend now."
Ryuu gave him a fist bump and smiled at him, Kenji smiled back at him.
"Wait, before you leave I would like to give you a gift to show you my appreciation."
Daisuke removed a suitcase and gave it to Ryuu.
"You don't have to give me a gift you know me already…" Ryuu Shikaku and Choza were stunned, their mouths dropped and their eyes widened as they saw multiple rows of money.
"All this money for me?"
Kenji and Daisuke nodded.
"Thank you very much!" Ryuu bowed his head.
"Not a problem, if we're ever in trouble again, we know who to call now and you're welcome here at any point, thank you for saving my son's life, I'm indebted to you."
"Daisuke-sama…"
They said goodbye and teleported back to Konoha.
"Man, it's been a long mission I can't wait to relax and get back to training with Kakashi." Shikaku nodded.
"It has been a long mission but it's not over until we've given the mission report." He said.
Ryuu rolled his eyes, they left to the Hokage's mansion he could feel Sakumo's chakra leaving his mansion.
He must've come back today as well.
"ah, Ryuu, you're back! What a coincidence." Hiruzen said.
"Why is it a coincidence, Sarutobi-sensei?"
I asked.
"Well, Sakumo is back at the same time and you both left at the same time as well."
After giving the mission report to the Hokage Ryuu went to the hospital to check on Inoichi, Shikaku, and Choza were told to stay behind for some reason, that didn't bother me so I just left.
When I reached the hospital they told me that he had already got dismissed.
"Of course, this would be a problem but I'm already used to his chakra and I can easily track him down, maybe I'll do that later, first things first."
Ryuu teleported back home.
"I'm back!"
Ryuu startled Kakashi, he still didn't get used to his teleportation, on the other hand, Sakumo was stunned as well.
"Ryuu, what was that jutsu you used just now?" He asked.
"It's Lord Seconds Jutsu, Flying Raijin, Big brother Minato and I perfected it."
Sakumo's eyes widened.
"That's impressive, you've managed to master an S-rank ninjutsu at so young."
Ryuu smiled.
"So what have you been up to while I was gone?"
He asked Kakashi
"Nothing."
He Replied as he went back to his room.
"What's wrong with him?" I asked.
Sakumo shrugged his shoulders.
I felt concerned and I went to check on him.
When I entered his room I found him sitting on his bed reading a book.
"Alright, quit being stubborn, what's wrong?"
He ignored me and continued reading.
"Come on Kakashi, you and I both know I'm not going to stop until you tell me so save us some time already."
He continued ignoring everything I said.
"Fine then, let's go."
He closed his book.
"Just make sure to close the door as you leave." He nonchalantly said.
Ryuu frowned.
"Idiot you're coming with me!" I dragged him from his bed.
"Hey! What the heck do you think you're doing?" Ryuu didn't respond.
He teleported him outside at training ground three.
"What are we even doing here?" He asked.
"Isn't it obvious? We're here to train."
I replied.
"Well I didn't ask for this, so you can go ahead and take me back."
"Well go back after training," I said.
Kakashi frowned but seeing as he didn't have a choice he went with it.
"Fine only for an hour."
Ryuu nodded.
The two spared in taijutsu, they spent hours fighting each other, of course, Ryuu didn't use his Sharingan because that would be unfair.
Ryuu went on to teach Kakashi some new jutsu he picked up in the mission.
Then they spared in kenjutsu using swords Ryuu borrowed from Sakumo.
The day went faster than anyone thought and soon the sun was going down again, Ryuu and Kakashi were exhausted from all the training they had done.
"Man I'm tired Kakashi, how about you?"
Ryuu said as he lay on the grass panting and sweating.
"Yeah me too, why did you put me through this kind of training again?" He asked.
"Well, it's my way of paying you back, the last time we tried training we got attacked by Krueger.
And you needed this to clear your mind."
Ryuu said.
"I see…
Well, can we go home now?"
I sat up and nodded.
"Before we go, tell me what's wrong."
Sigh
Kakashi knew how persistent Ryuu can be and decided to give in.
"It was just boring staying at home all the time."
Ryuu slapped himself, Kakashi was confused.
"Why did you do that?" He asked.
"Well it's because I've failed you, I should've been training and helping you with your studies, if all you wanted was to graduate early, training and practicing with me should do it because we're in war this will be easy plus you're also considered a genius it'll be easier to graduate early."
Hearing that, Kakashi's mood changed immediately, I gave him hope.
"Alright let's go home, I'll tell you and dad all about my mission at home," I said as I helped him stand up.
When we got home we found dad had made dinner, as we ate I told them about my mission.
"Ryuu, do you realize how lucky you are, you've met all the Saninns and you even fought one and lived to tell the tale," Sakumo said.
"Well, both of us were holding back and she has that fear or hers so it makes sense how I made it out alive." Ryuu nonchalantly said.
"And you also defeated a ninja from the seven ninja swordsmen of the mist right?" I nodded.
"He was less impressive than you think, I didn't even get to use my death blade it made me angry that I didn't get a tough fight, although I think the reason I was able to defeat Fuguki Suikazan was that I know all about him."
Sakumo nodded.
"That may be true, if you've given enough information about your opponent and they don't know anything about you, the fight will be easier, but that doesn't mean a random shinobi can defeat you, it requires skill and intelligence to use their weakness against them and its fair to say you're quite intelligent."
Ryuu smiled and nodded.
"Oh it's getting late, let's head to bed."
Everyone went to bed, tomorrow I'll have to train with Kakashi, I'll teach him a new jutsu, he learns quickly so that shouldn't be a problem.
