Chapter 146: Ryuu's birthday (Final part)
'Once we entered, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only was there a secret room, but it was a gigantic training center, it had a place for shuriken jutsu, meditation, and more.'
Ryuu's eyes glowed in joy, he even activated his Sharingan in pure excitement.
"Kenji, who is that?" Ryuu asked as he spotted a man working on something.
'There was a man, he had white hair and was smoking a cigarette, he looked like he was working on something, I couldn't see his face but he seemed so… familiar…'
"Kenji-sama, it's almost complete."
The man said as he turned around, and his eyes widened.
"I didn't realize we'd be having guests here, especially a shinobi as famous as you, Ryuu-sama." The man took off his gloves and offered his hand to Ryuu.
'He wore glasses with orange lenses, his cheekbones were straight and he wore black clothes with a collar, he seemed so familiar…'
Ryuu greeted him.
"Have we met somewhere?" Ryuu asked as he shook his hand.
"No, I'm pretty sure I would remember meeting the 'Hybrid'.
That's my favorite out of all your monikers.
Hmph, how rude of me, I know all your monikers and your name but I haven't introduced myself.
My name is Amado Sanzu, it's an honor meeting you." Ryuu's eyes widened.
'Amado?!' Ryuu quickly composed himself.
Amado found this reaction strange and asked.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just… you have a striking resemblance to someone I know.
But never mind that, it's great meeting you, too.
I'm guessing you're the one behind all this, I know Kenji can't do all of this."
Ryuu jokingly said.
"Kenji-sama hired me to make him a secret base, he said he wants to become a stronger shinobi just like you."
"I hope you don't mind showing me around." Amado nodded.
"It would be an honor.
However, not everything is finished, follow me." Ryuu followed Amado around the secret rooms.
'It's hard to believe that even now he's still way ahead of his time.
Makes sense that he was an independent scientist before he works for that bastard. He probably worked for multiple rich people.' Ryuu noted as he continued to follow Amado.
After 30 minutes, Amado showed Ryuu everything in the rooms and they headed back to the entrance.
'This place is more advanced than I thought.
I'll have to look for him if I ever want something similar to this.'
"That's about all of it for now, but I should be done in a month."
"I see…
Well, it was still impressive; I think.
This tour has been quite informative and amazing, you know."
"It's an honor to receive such a compliment from you Ryuu-sama."
Amado held his hand out to Ryuu.
Ryuu's hair stood up as he felt Nobu wake up after looking at Amado's hand.
'That feeling…' Ryuu still shook Amado's hand, and then he touched the back of his neck.
'What was that?'
Ryuu started walking towards the stairs they came from.
"Kenji-sama, I'll be done in a month."
"Great, every time I come here, I keep seeing that my money isn't wasted here."
"I'm doing my best and it's all thanks to the funds you give me."
"Right, I'll leave you to it, Amado." Amado nodded.
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Ryuu-sama."
"It was a pleasure meeting you too, Amado." Ryuu made a kunai and handed it to Amado.
"This is for future instances, I'll help you whenever I can."
Ryuu started going up the stairs with Kenji, and while Kenji was telling Ryuu how he met Amado, Ryuu was stuck in his mind, talking to Nobu.
"What was that earlier? That feeling…"
"That feeling was me."
"What?"
"Amado took a sample of your DNA without you knowing."
"Huh? When did that happen?"
"It doesn't matter."
"What do you mean, it doesn't matter? It obviously matters you know!"
"I burned it."
"You burned it?" Nobu nodded.
"Well, why didn't you just start with that?" Ryuu wiped his head.
"You had me worried for a second, you know." Ryuu left his mindscape.
"Hold on a second, I had planned to give you this earlier, but it's alright now."
Kenji went upstairs to look for his gift.
'Gift? Another one?'
Ryuu's eyes widened as he received some news that some villagers almost attacked Naruto.
"Just as I suspected." Ryuu frowned.
Ichika noticed Ryuu's frustrated look.
"Is something wrong?"
"The villagers almost attacked Naruto, I have to get him out of there soon, I don't want to bother Kakashi and dad, they're too busy to handle all that."
"I see, doesn't that mean that you should look for a new home now?"
Ryuu nodded.
He turned around and looked out the window; he hadn't thought of moving out so soon.
"I found it!" Kenji came holding a suitcase.
"This can't be happening again, can it?"
Ryuu asked, remembering the last time Kenji gave him a suitcase.
"Here's your present." He opened the suitcase and piles of money could be seen, as well as a letter attached to the top of the suitcase.
Ichika's eyes widened as she stared at the money.
"Again?! Has this happened before?"
Ryuu nervously scratched his head.
"Right, this happened to me back when I was a genin."
"Open this later," Kenji said.
"Thanks, Kenji, and remember you will always have my help," Ryuu said before teleporting with Ichika to Kakashi, who was on his way back with Mina. She never enjoys using Kamui to move around.
"What took you so long?" Kakashi asked.
"The last-minute gift and some upsetting news." Kakashi stopped running fast.
"Upsetting news?"
"I'm moving out."
Kakashi's eyes widened.
Ryuu explained the situation to him, he was understanding but Kakashi was still upset.
"The day I dreaded is finally here, you're moving out." Ryuu frowned.
"You can always come to my place, you know."
"Yeah, it's just that the house will be so empty now that you're gone."
Ryuu frowned.
'That's right, Kakashi and I have been living together since I was 4 years old…
I've never really thought about it, but now that I am…
No, what am I saying? I can't be gloomy like that.' Ryuu slapped himself and forced a smile with his eyes closed.
"I don't want to make things worse but… I won this bet, Kakashi. My ramen is on your tab for the next 4 months, plus you'll have to pay for my stuff in this new house, you know."
Kakashi looked at Ryuu in pure disbelief. Ryuu wasn't even looking at him, his eyes were closed as he told him this.
"Relax, even with my eyes closed I can see that judgemental stubborn look on your face." Kakashi frowned.
"What look?"
"Stop changing the subject." Kakashi looked away and stopped making that face.
"We'll still meet each other every day, we'll have each other's backs no matter what, right?" Ryuu held his fist out.
"Of course." Kakashi returned the fist bump.
"Do you need my help?" Kakashi asked.
Ryuu nodded.
"I was planning on sealing everything and taking them all at once, but I'll take my time now."
They walked back home, and Ichika and Mina helped them out.
As soon as he came back, Ryuu told Sakumo just as he was about to pack.
"Wow, so you're finally moving out, huh?"
"Finally?!"
"Hahaha!" Sakumo laughed.
"I'm only joking, I'll miss you, now the next person to move out is Kakashi.
How time flies, am I right?"
"Right."
"Anyway, have you found a place to live yet?" Ryuu nodded.
"Yeah, I just bought the land above the Hokage stone faces.
There, I'll have a vantage point and a splendid view."
Sakumo smiled.
"I was hoping you would say you haven't, maybe that would've given you a day or two to stay here." Ryuu smiled.
"Thanks for everything, dad." Sakumo smiled.
"Ryuu, come here!" Kakashi called Ryuu and interrupted him and Sakumo.
Ryuu went to his room where Kakashi and his clones had finished packing.
"Is this yours?" He asked while holding in his laugh with one hand.
The other hand was holding a magazine with some… questionable pictures and a book.
Ryuu's eyes widened, and he quickly snatched the magazine from Kakashi's hands and sealed it away.
"My, my, how did that get there?"
Ryuu held out the book to Kakashi.
"Make out paradise?"
"You'll like it, signed by Jiraiya-sensei himself, and it's the very first copy of the book. I got it because I helped him when he needed ideas."
'If it weren't for my sensory skills, Jiraiya-sensei and I would've been beaten thoroughly in those hot springs, you know.'
"Anyway, this book is a certain game changer, Kakashi. It's not even out yet, so you'll be the second one to read it."
Ryuu gave Kakashi the book.
"Ahem, we should get going now."
He said before taking his stuff and heading out.
'I finally have some dirt on him.'
Kakashi proudly said to himself with a wicked smile.
"Alright then, I'll see you tomorrow." Sakumo nodded.
Ryuu And Kakashi walked towards the Hokage stone faces where they found Ichika sitting on top of Ryuu's bags holding Naruto who was awake.
"What took you so long?"
"Sorry, I must've lost track of time, you know." Ichika gave Naruto to Kakashi.
"Awww, isn't that-" Mina asked as she stared at Naruto in awe.
"This is Naruto. Minato-sensei's son." Kakashi stated.
"How do you want it to look?"
Ichika asked.
"Just use your imagination." Ichika nodded.
They both made a hand sign.
"Wood style: four pillar home!"
A giant mansion with two floors came from underneath.
"Wood style: Deep forest emergence!" Ryuu and Ichika made giant trees grow beside the house and around the compound.
"Wood style: Deep forest bloom!"
The ground shook as two giant flowers sprouted beside the house.
Kakashi gave Naruto to one of Ryuu's clones.
"Earth-style: multiple mud wall!"
The ground made an enormous wall that surrounded the compound and even created a dam on the field.
Ryuu placed a seal on the wall near the dam.
He made a hand seal.
Boom!
Water came from the seal, making a waterfall and filling the dam.
"Thanks a lot, Kakashi, you and Mina can go now, it's getting late.
We'll meet up tomorrow morning, don't be late."
Kakashi nodded.
"Bye Ichika!"
"Bye Mina!" They waved at each other before Kakashi and Mina left.
"I owe you for this."
"No worries, this was a favor."
"No, it'll feel wrong, I'll pay you back."
"Speaking of paying, do you still have that money Kenji gave you?"
"Of course I do, I can't lose money like that at once, you know."
"There are these new sai's, they're incredible. I want them, but I don't have the money for them. If only I knew someone who does…"
"You just said…
Nevermind. How much?"
Ichika smiled and kissed his cheek, making him blush and forget about it.
"Happy birthday," Ichika said before walking away.
Ryuu was frozen, and his cheeks were as red as his hair.
"Hey! We don't have all day, you know!"
One of his clones yelled at him while the other shook him out of it.
Ryuu walked into his new house with a smile on his face.
'No matter what it is, I just love the smell of new things. However, I'll have to shop for some things tomorrow.'
He had made a bed for Naruto near his own.
"Sleep well, Naruto." He said as he also went to sleep.
Ryuu quickly opened his eyes.
"I forgot to put protective seals around the compound!
I'll do that some other time." Ryuu said before closing his eyes.
