Chapter 76: Rasengan!
He teleported to the Uchiha grounds, inside Fugaku's home.
"Uncle, I have a request for you."
He nodded.
"I know about the secret clan meetings."
Ryuu's words took Fugaku by surprise and his eyes widened, he's usually so calm.
"I see…" He closed his eyes and thought about it.
"I'm guessing you want to join."
Ryuu nodded.
"One more thing." Ryuu showed him his Mangekyou Sharingan.
He was speechless, then he nodded and showed his Mangekyou.
"Urgh!"
'That feeling, that vision, everything is black and white again.'
Ryuu held and squinted his eyes in pain.
His Mangekyou Sharingan spun around for a few seconds, then stopped and disappeared.
"You already have those eyes, incredible." Ryuu nodded.
"I got mine the day they announced your death, I wonder, how did you get the Mangekyou?"
Ryuu remembered the day he thought he killed Minato and Kakashi and frowned.
"Anyway, you don't have to tell me anything, meet me at midnight, in the main hall, beneath the seventh tatami mat from the far right. In there is the secret meeting place of the Uchiha clan. Don't be late."
Ryuu nodded.
"Take this, I'll use it to teleport to you."
He gave him a kunai and teleported back to team 7, Obito was being treated by Rin near the training grounds, while Kakashi waited.
"Man, Kakashi, you've gotten sloppy if you let someone hit you that hard."
He jokingly said.
"And you've stayed the same, you haven't been back for over two days and yet you're already criticizing me."
Ryuu chuckled.
"Don't worry Rin, I'll take care of Kakashi."
Ryuu treated Kakashi and Obito's wounds.
"Anyway, what happened?" Ryuu asked.
"Ever since Obito got his Sharingan, he's become reckless, thinking his eyes can save him all the time, this time he charged into battle, leaving me to cover him."
Ryuu widened his eyes
"Since when did you get the Sharingan, Obito?"
After being treated by Ryuu, Obito put his shirt back on and came to show him his Sharingan.
'He has already reached two tomoe?'
"I awakened my Sharingan the day you died, I jumped to two tomoe."
Ryuu smiled.
"That's fantastic! I can't wait to go on missions with you two.
I bet you've gotten good at medical ninjutsu too, haven't you, Rin?"
She nodded.
"After you died, Minato-sensei didn't want that to happen to any of his students again, so he arranged for me to learn under Tsunade-sama."
Ryuu nodded.
"Anyway, let's go home Kakashi."
He nodded.
"I guess I'll see you soon," Obito said.
After saying goodbye, Kakashi and Ryuu left and walked back home with Kakashi.
"We're Home!" they both said.
"Dad and I made some fish while you were gone, we saved some for you."
Ryuu got Kakashi's plate.
"Hurry, I need to show you something."
He nodded, he devoured the rice and fish and wore his mask in a second, then Ryuu teleported to his training area.
"Kakashi, I've recently discovered many things, one of them, including the fact that I have a long-lost brother."
He widened his eyes.
"It's honestly a long story and I'll tell you later, but for now, I have something else you must see." Ryuu opened his Mangekyou Sharingan.
"Your eyes, these are the Mangekyou Sharingan?"
Ryuu nodded.
"Apart from our talks, I've only heard stories and rumors about these eyes, most people say they're nothing but a myth."
Ryuu nodded.
"Not everyone has the chance to get such powerful eyes."
Ryuu gave Kakashi his flames.
"What are these for?" He asked.
"You'll see." Ryuu opened a portal using his eyes and took Kakashi with him to the dark dimension.
"Ryuu, where are we?"
"We're in another dimension where I control everything. Just look at this."
Ryuu controlled his ash to make a sculpture of himself.
"Awesome right?" He nodded.
"So this is the power of the Mangekyou," Kakashi said to himself.
"And it can do so much more, look at my new sword."
Ryuu tossed it to Kakashi.
He moved away and let it fall.
"Ryuu, won't it burn me when I touch it?" Ryuu shook his head.
Ryuu lifted the sword using the ashes on the ground, then Kakashi picked it up.
"It's so… light, it's hard to imagine that something like this is so deadly, but why doesn't this one burn people?"
"My brother fixed it, now it won't burn anyone unless I want it to, anyway, I have a lot of other things I could show you but all that can wait, for now, let's go back home, I'm tired."
Kakashi nodded.
After confirming Kakashi and Sakumo were asleep, Ryuu snuck out and went to meet with Fugaku.
"You're almost late, what kept you?"
Ryuu shyly scratched his head.
"Sorry about that." He shook his head.
"This is the secret base where the clan holds its meetings, right now nothing is going on so no one needs to be here." Ryuu nodded.
Ryuu activated his Mangekyou and read the stone tablet that was at the center.
'Nothing that I don't already know on the tablet.'
"Well Uncle, I guess I'll be going now, should I drop you off at your house?"
He nodded.
Ryuu placed his hand on his shoulder and then dropped him in his house, he then left and went back to sleep.
After a few hours of sleep, Ryuu woke up.
He got ready and teleported to Rikuto.
"Back so soon?" Ryuu nodded.
"I couldn't stay that long, you'd get too lonely without me."
Ryuu jokingly replied.
"So what brings you here, Brother?"
"These people know nothing of your existence, I want to remind them, I want to remove the seal from their memories."
Rikuto smiled.
"I can't go back not because I don't want to, it's because I wish to go back after I restore their memories and for that I need to discreetly search for where he hid them, meanwhile you stay out of trouble."
Ryuu nodded.
He teleported back to Konoha and went to Orochimaru's lab.
"Orochimaru-sama, what have you been up to these days?"
He was experimenting and didn't respond, Ryuu understood and left him to do his experiment, meanwhile he teleported to Kushina's home.
"Oh, Ryuu, how may I help you?"
She asked.
"Well, it's not you I need, it's Kurama, I want to privately talk to him."
She nodded as Ryuu entered Kushina's mindscape.
"Good to see you again, Kurama."
He snorted and turned around.
"Well, you remember that day I told you I'll come back and will need your help? Well, it's here.
I need a favor from you."
He opened his eyes.
"I refuse to grant you a favor, I already did you a solid by not telling Kushina about you being alive."
He crossed his arms and slept while facing the other side.
"Come on Kurama, just help me out here, I'll do you a favor in return."
Ryuu pleaded, but Kurama ignored him.
"Stop annoying me, you brat!"
Ryuu felt a chill on his back and scratched his head shyly.
"I'll help you, not cause I want to, but only so you leave me alone."
Ryuu smiled and nodded.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"I need a tail worth of your chakra."
He scoffed.
"What would you need my chakra for?"
He asked.
"I'm working on something."
Ryuu responded, Kurama didn't ask more questions and allowed Ryuu to seal his chakra.
After an hour of extracting his chakra, Ryuu sealed it in a large scroll.
"Now that you have sealed some of my chakra, do me a favor and do nothing reckless with it."
Ryuu nodded.
"That seems to be what people tell me the most these days,"
Ryuu replied.
"Before I leave, I'll need to do something about this place you stay in."
Ryuu cracked his fingers and locked his hands together, he then activated his Mangekyou Sharingan.
"Wood style deep forest emergence!" Giant trees came from the ground and surrounded the area.
"Wood style?!" Kurama's eyes widened in shock.
"This is how far you've grown?"
Ryuu nodded and deactivated his Mangekyou Sharingan.
'Wood style takes a lot of chakra, or is it my eyes?'
He activated Phoenix Flame in his eyes and healed.
"Well, I'll see you later, Kurama."
He waved Kurama off and left.
"Thanks for the help, Big sis." He waved Kushina off and left.
Ryuu teleported to Minato, who was training with Kakashi and Obito.
"Fireball Jutsu!" Obito shot out a massive fireball at Minato.
Kakashi was building up Lightning chakra, it coated him in it, he moved fast enough to get to Minato.
"Leaf Hurricane!"
Kakashi aimed his kick at Minato, but he teleported out of the way.
"Nice, mixing taijutsu and Lightning chakra mode, you've gotten stronger than I'd ever imagined, Kakashi, you too Obito."
They were both surprised by Ryuu's sudden appearance and ran towards him.
"Speaking of, did you finish that jutsu you were working on sensei?" He nodded.
"I called it Rasengan!"
He showed it to everyone.
A blue spiral of chakra built upon his hand.
"After what you told me, everything became easier, and I finished creating it shortly after you disappeared. Since then, I've been trying to add a chakra nature to it to see what the results will be like."
The blue ball of chakra started getting lighter and slightly smaller, but dispersed after a few seconds.
"I see… Well, let me try." Minato nodded
"Don't be disappointed if you fail, this jutsu requires a significant amount of refined chakra control." Ryuu nodded.
'I directed chakra into my arm, spinning it counterclockwise. Then I slowly increased my chakra and contained it, shaping it like a ball.'
"Amazing! You got it on your first try, that's quite an accomplishment." Minato said.
"Wow, you're as exceptional as ever!"
Obito said.
Ryuu scratched his head shyly.
"Someone's coming, it might be an Anbu black ops member." Minato nodded.
"Kakashi, I have a jutsu for you, I made it up while I did the Rasengan and after I saw your lightning chakra mode, I haven't tried it yet but I know it'll be useful to you."
Ryuu charged Lightning chakra into his hand, after charging it there was so much chakra that it started being visible, and making sounds, it sounded like a thousand birds chirping.
"I call it Chidori!" Ryuu activated his Sharingan and struck a nearby rock, and it shattered into pieces.
"You came up with that just after one session?" Minato asked, and Ryuu nodded.
"Well, it's getting late, we shall continue this training session Tomorrow."
They nodded, 'I took Obito home, and I walked with Kakashi.'
While on the way back, Ryuu picked up a leaflet that was laid on the ground.
"Welcome to the opening of Ichiraku Ramen! All customers get half-priced ramen for the grand opening!"
Ryuu's mouth began watering.
"This is what I've been dreaming of my whole life!"
He pumped his fist in the air and had tears of joy in his eyes.
Kakashi stopped to see what Ryuu was doing.
"Are you serious? Crying because of a ramen shop opening? You're so weird."
Ryuu's happiness was put on hold by Kakashi's cold words.
"Geez Kakashi, couldn't you let me be happy this once?"
He said as he dropped his head depressingly.
That night Ryuu went to sleep early so he could be the first one there.
