Chapter 73: Madara Uchiha
1 year later…
'Before I knew it, a year had passed, and it was time to go back home.'
"Before you leave, I have to ask, have you planned how you're going to get the eternal Mangekyou Sharingan?" Ryuu nodded.
"Before I do that, I'll have to visit the Kurama clan, they have powerful genjutsu, I plan on using that on Tsunade-chan, I'm sure she'll heal after experiencing her worst memory repeatedly, and after she heals, she can transplant our eyes."
Rikuto was stunned by Ryuu's plan.
"I guess that works, but apart from that, I will miss you, little brother."
They hugged before separating once again.
'Why are his plans always so brutal?' Rikuto asked himself as he watched Ryuu leave.
Ryuu left and began his journey back to Konoha, Rikuto's Cave was far from the village and it took 4 days without rushing.
"Man, I'll have to walk back to the village, what a drag, and there's someone or something following me, it doesn't feel human, this is just great," Ryuu said.
After a day of walking Ryuu set up a camp and pretended to sleep, he still had a long journey ahead so he wanted to deal with whatever or whoever was following him.
"It's getting closer." Ryuu quickly got up and grabbed his sword.
"You can sense me?" A dark figure spoke from beneath the ground.
"You're black Zetsu!" Ryuu entered Phoenix Flame mode.
"And you know me, you're an odd one."
He said as he slowly got up from the ground.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
He didn't look threatened at all.
"I was told to get you by my master."
Ryuu's eyes widened, and he put his sword down and extinguished his Phoenix Flame mode.
"Don't think you threaten me, I simply want to meet him, lead the way."
He nodded.
"You speak as if you know who my master is, do you?" Ryuu grabbed his sword.
"Just go already!" He nodded.
Ryuu followed black Zetsu. 'we aren't far from Konoha, we're in the land of waterfalls.
They finally reached Madara's hideout.
'a cave underneath the land of waterfalls.'
Once we entered the cave, I could already feel a little nauseous from all that power, I can sense so much chakra, and so much killing intent, I wonder, what did it feel like seeing Hashirama, anyway, this isn't the time to be questioning myself, I'm already here.'
As Ryuu was questioning himself, he saw something Majestic ahead of him.
'Inside, I could see a large wall, it had multiple statues of Madara, they all looked like they were trying to leave or something, and spikes from the wall, right above it was the Gedo statue, but looking at all that was a distraction I used not to look at the person sitting on a wooden chair In the middle.'
"Madara Uchiha." Ryuu said to himself.
"Here he is, master." Black Zetsu said as he bowed respectfully.
He opened his eyes and revealed two Sharingan, they were both three tomoe.
'He's already given Nagato, huh?'
"So, you're who they call a demon?"
Ryuu slowly nodded.
'Even though he was old and spoke slowly, his voice was so deep, it echoed through the cave, it sounded so intimidating, even though I'm scared, I'm also excited that I finally get to meet him.'
Ryuu smiled, and Madara widened his eyes.
"This isn't the reaction one would expect to see when they meet a stranger for the first time, do you know me?"
Ryuu nodded.
"I know far more about you than you think, it's kind of like I know everything about you 'The Ghost of the Uchiha' you're Madara," Ryuu said confidently.
Madara stood up and walked towards Ryuu.
'With each step, I felt like I was going to die, that scythe he was carrying didn't help me either.'
"I've had black Zetsu follow you for a while now, an Uchiha with Uzumaki blood, how interesting, but just not enough, I thought.
It is rare for me to say this, but… I was wrong to ignore you.
One year ago two giants fought in a forest, they were made of Flames and burned everything, luckily black Zetsu escaped and came to report to me."
'That's right, I fought with Rikuto using our Phoenix Flame giants.'
He said to himself as he remembered what had happened.
"Young Uchiha, you wield all nature affinities, don't you?" I nodded.
"What about wood style? Can you use it?"
'There's no point in lying to him.'
Ryuu nodded.
"I've never used it, but recently, I discovered I could use it." He looked at Black Zetsu and nodded.
'I didn't know what was going on, but I don't like it.'
"Tell me, what do you know about me?" He asked.
"I know you bit off the first Hokage's flesh when you fought him in the final valley, you used that flesh to get the Rinnegan, you needed his flesh to mix yours and his chakra, and awaken six paths chakra, you awakened it too late when your body is dying."
His eyes widened.
"How do you know this?" He calmly asked.
"I did my research, just like you I want to create a world of peace for my family and friends, I've already lost my parent because of my weakness, but I won't lose anymore, I'll create a world of peace for everyone I know, and I'll crush those who oppose me." He said.
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you bring me here?" Ryuu asked.
"Isn't it obvious, I wish to know more about you, and no one has asked you to stay here, you can leave whenever you want.
Do whatever you like.", he scoffs
Turning away and sitting beside the Gedo Statue.
As Ryuu was looking around, the old man was contemplating his thoughts,
'This child; those mysterious Flames, what were they?! I sense His significant amount of vitality due to the Uzumaki blood'
'That kid shall be good for my plans, all I need is to break his will and make him walk a darker path.
Soon the entire world shall be cast into Infinite Tsukuyomi, and we will achieve eternal peace'
He gets a glimpse of a certain young Uchiha; he remains silent, opens his eyes and he walks toward Black Zetsu.
Black Zetsu noticed Madara coming towards him from a corner.
'Madara-sama's plans will be done Soon, it will all be done soon.' He thought to himself.
"Your beliefs remind me of Hashirama's, naïve and foolish." He said.
"My beliefs have got me this far, yours have got you siphoning chakra from a statue." Ryuu coldly responded.
A small smile appeared on his face as he realized Ryuu's arrogance.
"Hmph, wake up to reality, nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world. The longer you live the more you will realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering, and futility.
Listen, everywhere you look in this world, wherever there is light, there will always be shadows to be found as well.
As long as there is a concept of Victors, the vanquished will also exist.
The selfish intent of wanting to preserve peace initiates wars.
And hatred is born in order to protect love. There are nexuses casual relationships that cannot be separated, normally that is."
'I kept my calm look but internally I was freaking out, Madara Uchiha gave me the speech, I'm thinking that maybe I should join him.' Ryuu said to himself.
"Not long ago, you risked your life to save your father, Sakumo Hatake, right?"
Ryuu nodded.
"I want to create a world of peace, only winners, but for me to do that I'll require your help to put some things in place and for you to stay out of my way then in return I'll grant you two favors, do we have a deal?"
Ryuu thought about it.
'Training under Madara will only improve me further, plus if I can gain his trust I'll be able to stop the 4th shinobi war easier because one way or another, Madara Uchiha will be back.' Ryuu said to himself.
"Anyway, this doesn't matter, once you realised how cruel this world can be, you'll be back.
For now, I need fresh eyes, once you give me new eyes, you shall have your favors and freedom.
For help, I'll give you this."
Black Zetsu came from underneath holding Madara's Gunbai and had a yellow striped mask like Obito's, he picked up a hood and then gave them to Ryuu.
"This Gunbai uses wind style to reflect whatever jutsu used against it and this mask has a special powder that hides whoever is inside, even from the Byakugan." Ryuu nodded.
"Thank you, Madara-sama."
He took them and left.
"Black Zetsu, follow him and see how he does, make sure he doesn't sense you."
He nodded and sunk into the ground.
'I already know where to get a new pair of eyes for Madara, it's time to pay Danzo a visit.' Ryuu said to himself.
After an hour of traveling, Ryuu reached Konoha, 'I entered sage mode and used my ash to cover my tracks, whatever I do, I shouldn't use Phoenix flame mode, they'll recognize me instantly.'
Ryuu entered sage mode and placed his finger on the ground.
"There you are." He had finished a meeting with Hiruzen and was heading back to his hideout.
'Good thing Sarutobi-sensei is through with him, defeating him would be quite a hassle, especially without using Phoenix Flame.' Ryuu followed Danzo, there was a squad of root members protecting him from the shadows.
"They think they're hidden, Hmph." Ryuu snuck behind all of them and one by one, he killed them by sending them to his dimension.
'Usually, I'd feel bad for killing leaf shinobi, but these guys aren't leaf shinobi, they're Danzo's henchmen handpicked by himself and would do anything for him, even at the cost of innocents.'
'Finally, he reached his hideout.'
Ryuu followed him using transparent escape technique and waited for him to be alone.
"Finally." Ryuu opened his Mangekyou Sharingan and let out dark smoke.
Danzo couldn't realize it but he was slowly inhaling it and in just a few breaths he hit the floor.
"Now to take what I came here for." Ryuu slowly walked to Danzo's body.
'I can't feel any Sharingan's from him, but I can't be too safe.' He said to himself.
"Shadow clone jutsu!"
Ryuu made a clone of himself to take his eyes, he opened Danzo's right eye and carefully cut it off, then he opened Danzo's bandages and there were 3 Sharingan's but suddenly Danzo's body disappeared from the floor, he appeared just as he was before he knocked him out.
"Izanagi." Ryuu took out his gunbai.
"Who are you, and why are you attacking me?" He asked.
"It doesn't matter who I am."
Ryuu made his voice sound like Madara's.
"Wind Style: Wind blades!" Ryuu smirked and held out his gunbai.
"Uchiha style: Uchiha reflection jutsu!"
The wind blades hit his gunbai but nothing happened, he tilted the Gunbai.
"Boom!" Danzo was sent flying out of his office.
"Hmph, if it weren't for Madara I would've stuck here and had some more fun, (sigh) I guess you don't always get what you want," Ryuu said to himself.
"Urgh!" Danzo was standing up, his mouth full of blood and his bones shattered from the impact.
"I'll be taking these."
Ryuu snatched his Sharingan away from him and left him using the shadows.
"Danzo-sama, what happened?" One of the root members arrived.
"Tch!" Danzo clicked in frustration.
"I'm guessing he doesn't have as many Sharingan because the Uchiha massacre hasn't happened yet, anyway, I'll have to go back to Madara, I can't keep him waiting, plus Black Zetsu has been following me, I swear I'll kill him when I have the chance."
