Chapter 101: Madara’s world
4 Weeks passed…
Orochimaru was in the Hokage's mansion, having tea in the morning.
"Sarutobi-sensei, you burdened me with the life of Tsunade's niece, surely there has to be someone else who can help her."
The Hokage shook his head.
"Orochimaru, she refused everyone else, even I'm not sure why.
But anyway, how's her progress so far?"
Orochimaru put his tea down.
"Ichika is an interesting child, despite her late start in becoming a Kunoichi, Ichika has hidden talent and abilities compared to Tsunade.
She has mastered three chakra nature's already, and she's better than most of her age mates in taijutsu and Ryuu taught her some of his genjutsu techniques, I've been impressed with her so far."
The Hokage nodded.
"She sounds like a prodigy from the Senju clan, it's a shame we didn't know about her earlier." Orochimaru nodded.
'Should I tell Sarutobi-sensei about what I found in her blood cells?
No, not until I can be sure.'
After finishing tea, Orochimaru headed to his lab.
Meanwhile, Ryuu and Obito were training their new bodies, they had been able to walk but were still struggling and Ryuu had finally accepted White Zetsu's help but he would still push him away when he annoyed him too much.
Ryuu had made a breakthrough in his Hashirama cells' research.
Ryuu and Obito were doing laps walking around the cave.
Ryuu almost dropped because of the pain, he was wobbling and shivering in pain; he had been trying to get better and hadn't slept in days.
"Don't you want to take a break?" White Zetsu asked.
Ryuu shook his head.
"I have to get better." He said as he forced himself to go to another lap.
He was panting and sweating heavily, his hair had grown so much and was now on his face.
Huff Huff.
Ryuu breathed in hard and continued walking.
Madara opened his eyes and looked at Ryuu, black Zetsu was beside him.
"Madara-sama, you should be asleep now, you need to preserve your strength."
Madara didn't respond.
"How long has he been at it now?" He asked.
"Nearly one week without sleep, he has been working harder to regain his strength."
"I see…"
Madara slowly got up and took his scythe.
"Young Uchiha, rest is a key part of healing."
Ryuu looked at him directly in his eyes, panting and sweating, and then continued working.
'If it's true that he has this much energy, then it wouldn't be a problem to begin the second part of my plan.
He progresses faster than Obito does, even without Hashirama cells, impressive… it's a pity his body rejected them.'
"Follow me," Madara said.
"I have to continue working."
"I didn't ask," Madara replied.
Ryuu gritted his teeth.
He wiped his sweat off and put his shirt on, then followed Madara.
"What?"
"I'm impressed with your dedication to getting better.
However, from now on you're going to learn from me, I will teach you the true power of the Mangekyou Sharingan."
Madara's eyes spun around and revealed his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, a three choku-tomoe pattern.
"Look into my eyes!" Madara put Ryuu into a genjutsu.
'The moment I opened my eyes I knew where I was, a plain white world with nothing inside it, but Madara didn't know that I knew and so I still had to ask.'
"Where are we?"
"We are inside my genjutsu.
If I'm connected to the Gedo Mazo, I can use its power to create anything, no matter how detailed.
Like this…" He said as he transformed into a younger version of himself with a smile.
Ryuu's eyes widened seeing the young Madara.
"With this genjutsu, I can create a world exactly as I want it.
And then I just have to cast my genjutsu on people and drag them inside that world too."
An enormous statue of a woman on a chair and above on her forehead was the Rinne Sharingan.
"I don't need to explain this to you, it appears you know it all, so I will begin training you."
The once plain white world turned into a valley with a waterfall running down the middle, beside the waterfall were two statues, one of them was of the first Hokage Hashirama Senju and the other one was of his rival Madara Uchiha.
"This is…" Madara nodded.
"Where Hashirama and I last fought, and where my journey began…
The final valley."
Ryuu clenched his fist, his eyes widened after realizing he could walk properly again.
'What is this feeling? There's something I can feel in my gut, or is it in my heart? It's pumping faster than normal and I'm sweating.
Is this fear or excitement?'
Ryuu asked himself.
Ryuu glanced at Madara.
'Is he also getting this feeling? I can feel a presence or some intent radiating from him, is he excited to fight me too?'
Ryuu smiled.
"To think, I would make the Madara Uchiha excited to fight me, I can't believe it."
Ryuu said with a proud smile on his face.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, you're just the closest thing to a proper fight I can find right now." He said with a sinister smile.
'There's too much hostility in that smile, it's not friendly, he radiates a killing intent, but…
I can't help but feel so excited about this…'
Ryuu unsheathed his Katana and added lightning release to it, making it deadlier and sharper than a normal Katana.
It was his old Katana, and Madara had his gunbai and scythe.
"Let's dance," Madara said before being the first one to quickly charge ahead.
Ryuu nodded and charged toward him, too.
'Is this really happening? Am I about to fight Madara himself? I can't believe it, but I have to, I'll impress Madara by defeating him, maybe then he'll trust me.'
Boom!
They clashed in the middle, leaving waves of water to splash around.
"Uchiha reflection jutsu!"
Ryuu frowned and quickly placed a seal on Madara.
Boom!
Ryuu dodged the explosion of wind and teleported behind Madara.
"Not bad." Madara grabbed Ryuu by the hand and swung him.
Causing him to fly back.
Ryuu used his Katana to break the momentum.
"Shadow clone jutsu!" He made two clones which repelled him back towards Madara.
'An unorthodox use of Shadow clones, even better than Tobirama, my, my, Ryuu, you don't disappoint, do you?'
Madara swung his scythe, but Ryuu blocked it using his Katana.
"Using lightning release to increase your Katana's sharpness and its range, impressive."
Ryuu gritted his teeth.
*Poof!*
Ryuu turned into a cloud of white smoke.
'Substitution jutsu, huh?' Madara made a hand seal.
"Fire style: majestic destroyer flame!"
A small smirk appeared on Ryuu's face.
He made the same hand sign.
"Fire style: majestic destroyer flame!"
Both of their fire-release jutsu clashed in the middle.
The scale of their Fire was growing and spreading, the water beneath them was boiling and evaporating, and the rocks underneath could be seen.
'I don't have nearly as much chakra as he does, I can't continue like this.'
Ryuu's fire style was decreasing in size and Madara's was growing and overwhelming him.
Madara smirked seeing Ryuu struggling.
He added more chakra and made the fire bigger.
"Shit." Ryuu teleported using his Mangekyou.
"Young Uchiha, one has to use the Mangekyou in order for him to strengthen it."
Ryuu teleported back, swinging his Katana towards Madara.
'He's not fast enough to dodge this, I got him.'
"Multi-shadow clone jutsu!"
*Poof!*
hundreds of clones headed towards Madara.
"Hmph." Blue ribs made of chakra formed around him and blocked Ryuu's attack.
From the blue ribs formed two arms with Katanas that matched its color.
Madara swung those Katanas towards Ryuu, who teleported away.
"Things are getting serious." Ryuu activated sage mode and formed two Rasengans.
"Eight Gates Release: 5th gate of limit open!" A green aura radiated from Ryuu, his skin had become red and his hair was standing up.
Swoosh!
Ryuu ran towards Madara at full speed, dodging his attacks.
Boom!
Madara hit the ground, forcing Ryuu to jump on the debris, he bounced off of them and looked like a green bolt of lightning.
"Rasengan barrage!"
Ryuu hit Madara with his Rasengans, causing his Susanoo to crack.
Madara smirked and made a hand sign.
"Wood style: Deep forest emergence!"
Giant branches of wood came from underground, attacking Ryuu.
While Ryuu was dodging, he made hand signs.
"Sage art: Firestorm jutsu!"
Whoosh!
A giant firestorm appeared in front of him, it swallowed the trees and engulfed them in flames.
"Wind Style: Gunbai fanned wind!"
A massive wave of wind headed towards Ryuu, swallowing the giant firestorm.
Using his Mangekyou, Ryuu teleported behind Madara.
"Hmph!" Madara attacked Ryuu using blue skeletal arms that had blades.
"Fireball jutsu!" He blew a fireball towards Ryuu.
"Water dragon jutsu!" Ryuu made a giant water dragon and hit the Fireball headed towards him, making a cloud of steam.
'He isn't using his Susanoo, maybe I should push him further.'
A large blue humanoid with multiple heads appeared.
'He's not giving me a chance, I have to use it.'
Ryuu's eyes spun around and formed his Mangekyou pattern, black skeletal ribs formed around him, and black arms formed and started pushing down as the body and the face formed.
Muscles formed around the body and hands and then revealed two Katanas.
Ryuu grabbed two Katanas and got ready to fight.
