Chapter 88: Konoha's hero
"He's accepted and will go to Yugakure to confirm with you." The Hokage nodded.
"Excellent, you know if you keep contributing to the village like this, people will want to see you become Hokage."
Ryuu shyly scratched his head.
"Well, my conditions to becoming Hokage are permanent, I'll have to create a world of peace because if I can't do that as a shinobi, then how am I supposed to maintain it as Hokage, you know."
Lord third nodded.
"Anyway, it's time to announce this news to Konoha, I hope this will restore hope into their hearts, but I will not let my guard down, there will be shinobi surrounding us."
Ryuu nodded.
He called the Anbu members beside him.
"Gather the villagers, I'm making an announcement."
They nodded and disappeared.
"Bring Minato and Orochimaru to me."
Ryuu nodded and teleported to Minato, who was training by himself.
"Sarutobi-sensei is calling you."
He nodded.
Ryuu teleported to Orochimaru, who was in his lab, but this time, instead of doing experiments, he was making a plan for the war.
"Sarutobi-sensei wants to see you."
He nodded.
Ryuu placed his hand on his shoulder and teleported with him.
He stood above his office as he looked down at the other villagers, Anbu black ops surrounded the area and village.
"Ahem!"
He cleared his throat.
"I'm sure that you all have heard that Recently, there's been an arrangement between Konohagakure and Kumogakure, we've arranged to have an alliance in the war after Ryuu Uchiha bravely stood beside their Raikage as he was attacked by 10,000 shinobi from Iwagakure and negotiated for a peace treaty and an alliance with Kumogakure."
They loudly cheered for Ryuu.
Minato and Orochimaru glanced at him and joined in, clapping for him.
He shyly scratched his head and waved at them.
"A few years ago, Ryuu told me he wants to create peace for all kinds, whether they are born in Konohagakure or elsewhere, he said he wants all of us to live in harmony when he said that others laughed and mocked him and I have to admit that even I didn't fully believe in his words but now.
Now I believe in his ideal world and I believe that after this war it may not take a year or 5 years, but Ryuu Uchiha will unite the shinobi world!"
They all cheered for him once again.
After the speech, the Third Hokage, Minato, Ryuu, and Orochimaru went back into his office.
"You two are probably wondering why I called you here." They nodded.
"Tomorrow I'm going to Yugakure to meet with the third Raikage and I want you three to guard me just in case Iwagakure or someone else will attempt an ambush."
They all nodded.
Later in the evening, Ryuu and his friends went out for some ramen.
"Well, look who it is, the peacemaker of the hidden leaf." Ryuu smiled after hearing Kakashi's voice.
"Come on, there's no need for you to call me that." He Replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Ryuu-sama." Obito and the other laughed at him, and Ryuu's head dropped depressingly.
'It obviously can't get any worse than this and why that name? peacemaker.'
He said to himself.
"I still don't believe you fought 10,000 shinobi. Even with the Raikage's help, that's just too many." Obito said.
"That's what I'd expect from someone with your reputation, Ryuu," Ichika added.
She had become good friends with Rin and the others.
"Well, I always knew you'd be this powerful since we were kids," Kakashi added.
Ryuu nodded.
"And I'll get stronger than ever to protect you all," Ryuu said as he slurped his soup.
"No, we'll all get stronger together and protect each other," Kakashi added.
Ryuu and the others nodded in agreement.
"Hey, you have some fans over there."
Kakashi pointed behind Ryuu.
He looked back and saw three girls fawning over him.
"Hey." He waved at them and they ran giggling.
A small smile appeared on Ryuu's face but disappeared when he looked back at his friends, who were glaring at him.
'Lucky bastard.' Obito said to himself.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
They didn't speak and moved on.
The tense moment didn't disrupt their joyful time at Ichiraku's, and after a few hours, Ryuu and Kakashi went back home.
Teuchi had said that the Ramen was free for Ryuu and his friends.
"We're home!" Ryuu and Kakashi said at the same time.
The next day.
Ryuu was preparing to leave the village with the Hokage, Minato, and Orochimaru.
He walked with Kakashi to get new tools and renew his current ones.
a young Uchiha who ran toward him interrupted "Sensei!".
"Shisui? What are you doing here?"
Ryuu asked.
"Well, I was looking for you the whole day yesterday, I wanted to show you how far I've progressed with the jutsu you taught me." Ryuu nodded.
"I see… Well, you can show me after I get back from a mission." Shisui frowned.
"Come on, I never get to see you, you're always on missions."
Ryuu chuckled.
"Hey, it's not my fault I'm an amazing shinobi you know."
Kakashi facepalmed.
"That's what you teach your student?"
Ryuu's head dropped.
"No, it's not." He said in a low voice.
'Wow, I've never seen sensei look so human before.' Shisui said to himself.
"Whoosh!" Minato teleported near Ryuu.
"Let's get going." Ryuu nodded. He picked his stuff up and said goodbye.
"Sorry Shisui, maybe next time." He said before disappearing.
They left the village and headed to Yugakure.
After nearly a day of walking, they reached Yugakure and found that the Raikage wasn't there yet.
"It's almost nighttime, set up a camp." Ryuu nodded.
"Sarutobi-sensei, that'll impress you, watch closely."
Ryuu activated his Mangekyou Sharingan.
"Wood style: four-pillar house!"
The ground shook, and a giant house came from underground.
"This is impossible." He whispered as he was still shocked.
"When did you gain wood release?" Orochimaru asked.
Even he was shocked to see that.
All their eyes widened.
"I've been practicing my wood style for a year now."
They were all still shocked and stared at the home Ryuu had built.
"They're here now."
The Raikage, Ay, and Bee arrived.
"Here already?" Ay asked.
Ryuu nodded.
"We haven't been here for long."
He nodded.
"Good to see you again, bee." Ryuu greeted Bee.
"So you're the Jinchuriki of the eight tails," Orochimaru said as he greeted him.
Ryuu gulped as he remembered what Orochimaru did to the previous eight tails Jinchuriki.
"That's right, the eight-tailed rapping killer bee! Weee!" He yelled with his hand in the air. Ay punched him.
"Don't you tire of making noise?"
Bee shook his head.
"Unlike my flow, I ain't so slick. I turn around and get hit by my bro Yo!"
He said as he was being pulled by the ear.
Ryuu chuckled.
"Orochimaru, I know what you did with their previous Jinchuriki."
Ryuu had connected himself to Orochimaru's mind.
"This is the Yamanaka jutsu." He said as he looked at Ryuu.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He Replied.
"You can't lie to me, and you shouldn't, I don't care for Blue B, just don't try that on Killer B, not only is he a perfect Jinchuriki but also my friend."
Ryuu disconnected himself.
Orochimaru nodded.
He walked to the Hokage, who was shaking the Raikage's hand.
'Finally, now we can leave this place.'
He said to himself.
"Huh?" Ryuu turned around to find Ay was tapping his shoulder.
"What's up?"
"Thank you. You saved my father's life and probably my village too, after that, you also saved the village from another attack."
Ryuu smiled and nodded.
"In the future, if you need any help, do not be afraid to call me, I'll be happy to help you.
After all, I'll become the next Raikage."
Ryuu nodded and offered him a fist bump.
Ay nodded and returned the fist bump to him.
"I see… Ryuu probably told you what I meant the last time we met." He nodded.
"Yellow flash, we meet again but not as Kage's yet, you were wrong."
Minato shyly scratched his head.
Ryuu left and went to look for B.
"There you are, I've been looking for you," Ryuu said as he found him writing lyrics in a notebook.
"I came here to ask if I could meet the eight tails." He stopped writing and looked at Ryuu.
"You want to meet eighto?"
Ryuu nodded.
"First things first!" He stretched his hand for a fist bump.
This took Ryuu by surprise.
He smiled, then nodded and fist-bumped him.
B smiled back and when Ryuu was opening his eyes, he found himself in a dark world.
And in the middle was a tall beast with four large horns, but they cut the lower left part of his horn out.
'Gyūki was so large making towers and large forests look like dwarfs, he's much taller than other tailed beasts but not like Kurama.
He also didn't have legs but had eight tentacles.'
"Are you going to stand there and look at me that way? Is that why you asked to see me?" Ryuu shook his head.
"I'm just in awe, you know.
You're the third tailed beast I'm meeting."
Ryuu's words took him by surprise.
"It's an honor to meet you." He added.
"An honor?" Ryuu nodded.
"Don't your kind fear or hate me and my siblings?" Ryuu shook his head.
"Why would I hate you all if it were up to me I would build a temple far away from other shinobi just for all of you."
'Hmph, who is this kid?' Gyūki asked himself.
'Why is he so different from the others, it makes little sense to me, or it shouldn't. after all, my Jinchuriki is this rapping clown.' He said to himself.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
He asked, Ryuu was staring at him.
"Could I see your horn?" Ryuu asked.
"My horn?" He nodded.
"I think I can fix it."
"Fix it?" Ryuu nodded.
"Well, I'm not sure I can, but I might be wrong," Ryuu added.
Gyūki bowed his head, allowing Ryuu to climb on top and beside his head.
'If I combine Yang release with Phoenix Flame, I should be able to restore this part of his body.'
Ryuu activated Phoenix Flame in his hand and added chakra, he closed his eyes and added yang release.
'It's working?' Gyūki was shocked.
Ryuu opened his eyes and saw the horn he was panting a little, but with Phoenix Flame on he stopped.
"Amazing." Even he shocked himself.
Gyūki bowed down and allowed Ryuu to jump off safely.
"I can't believe it works…" Ryuu's eyes widened as he saw a giant fist in front of him.
He then smiled and returned the fist bump.
"Alright, now you've befriended the almighty eight tails and the rapping killer B, now we can knock the enemies off the rails. Weee!" B got smacked by Gyūki's tail.
Ryuu chuckled and left their mindscape.
"Right on time, it's time to go," Minato said to Ryuu.
Ryuu nodded and went to meet Ay.
"Ay, before I leave, take these and spread them where your village is weakest." He nodded and took the Dark Kunai from Ryuu.
They left and went back to their village while Ryuu and Minato teleported with Orochimaru and the Third Hokage.
