Chapter 40: Ino-shika-cho in trouble!
"Ryuu!" Kenji rejoiced after seeing Ryuu come back.
"Lady Tsunade!" And so did Shizune.
"Ryuu, your clothes are all torn up, but you Don't have a scratch on your body. What happened?" Ryuu smiled and said.
"Things got rough when I Tsunade and I went outside. She made me bleed for the first time in a while. The last time I was bleeding was probably when I started training with Sarutobi-sensei."
Kenji's mouth dropped.
"You trained with Hokage-sama?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, he trained me when we lived together for a few weeks," I said.
"Ryuu, can we have a moment alone?" Tsunade asked.
I nodded. Shizune and Kenji went outside.
"What's up, lady Tsunade?"
She didn't look happy even though we escaped.
"Well, first I'd like to apologise. I've caused you a lot of trouble since we met at the restaurant."
Ryuu waved his hands and said.
"No need to apologise, Lady Tsunade. In fact, I'm the one who should be apologizing. I was being inconsiderate, so please accept my apology."
I said as I bowed my head.
"Well, now that we have finished apologising, you wanted to ask you something."
I nodded and said,
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Oh, it's nothing wrong, it's just, I was wondering, what jutsu did you want to use earlier when we fought?"
Ryuu felt cold sweat on his forehead as he remembered he actually wanted to use Phoenix Flame on Tsunade.
"Well, it's not a Jutsu in fact I don't know what it is exactly but it seems only I can use it, I'm sorry about that, sometimes I just get in the heat of battle and forget everything, I didn't want to hurt you."
She smirked and said.
"Don't worry, they wouldn't hurt me, anyway."
"You're wrong, these flames are hotter than anything. They burn through everything they touch until it's nothing but ashes. If I had hit you with them you could've died, here let me show you."
Ryuu grabbed a kunai. He lit a small flame the size of his palm, then placed the kunai above. It engulfed the kunai in flames and melted in less than a second.
"Now do you see?
If I hit you with this, you could've died, but luckily it has different levels. I can control lower levels, but I can't go higher than the red one."
She nodded and said,
"Well, I guess I am lucky you weren't trying to kill me.
But I'm not sure how you weren't dead or even hurt. I'm guessing it has something to do with that fire of yours, right?"
I nodded. "That's right, after I leave Phoenix Flame mode, I enter something like a cocoon made of ash. It heals all injuries and even restores chakra, making me invulnerable in that state."
Tsunade's eyes widened.
To this day, her Byakogu seal was second to none, but Ryuu's Phoenix Flame mode suddenly challenges her.
"Ryuu, your Phoenix Flame is truly something. If you could learn how to use it to heal people, then maybe your dream of protecting everyone is possible."
She said.
"Well, I can already give it to other people, but it won't have the same effect it has on me. It can only heal minor injuries and keep people warm." I said.
"That's because you don't know any medical ninjutsu. I can train you in medical ninjutsu with knowledge from medical ninjutsu. You should be able to heal others with that fire."
She insisted on teaching me medical ninjutsu, and how could I refuse? She's the greatest medical ninja, plus this would give me an excuse to see her.
"Fine, since you insist on teaching me I'll accept, when I'm free, I'll be coming back to you."
She smiled and nodded.
"Ryuu!" Kenji came running.
"Is there something wrong?" Hs nodded.
"It's inoichi-sama. He's hurt!"
We hurried there
Once we got there, we found him in a pool of blood coming from his arms and stomach.
"Inoichi, what happened?" He didn't respond.
"He must be unconscious, Tsunade. we need your help."
Ryuu looked back, and she was trembling
"There's no time for that, I have to go." Ryuu teleported to a hospital in Konoha.
"We need some help!" He said as he rushed in, looking for a medical ninja.
They took him and started treating him immediately.
One of them said.
"Luckily he didn't get hit on a vital organ, but those wounds, they were so terrifying it's almost like someone was shredding his flesh anyway, he should be fine by the end of the day."
"Samehada" Ryuu folded his fist.
As soon as he confirmed that he'll be alright, he teleported back.
"Ryuu!" Kenji was concerned.
"Is he going to be OK?" He asked.
I nodded and said.
"don't worry about him. He'll be fine, thank you. If it weren't for you guys finding him, I wouldn't have gotten him back to the hospital. Where did you find him, anyway?"
"We heard a noise from the door. When we went to open, he fell through, we caught him and brought him here."
Damn, he probably fought Fuguki and got caught by samehada.
"Have you heard anything from Shikaku or Choza?"
He shook his head.
I hope they haven't been captured,
"Tsunade, take care of these two. I'll be back."
Tsunade had stopped shivering, but she was taken to the other room by Shizune because she couldn't stomach seeing all that blood.
"And where are you going?" She asked.
"I have to find Shikaku and Choza."
Ryuu said as he placed his finger on the ground.
"I found Shikaku! He's fighting. I can sense his chakra getting weaker. If I don't get there soon, he could die."
Kenji's eyes widened.
"Tsunade, make sure no one gets their hands on Kenji." She nodded.
Ryuu teleported behind Shikaku, he was being attacked by many shinobis inside a building.
"It's an ambush!"
Ryuu activated his blade.
"Ryuu! What are you doing here?" Shikaku asked.
"No time to explain. Just sit back and let me help you!"
I said as I entered Phoenix Flame mode.
"It's time to try that move."
Ryuu said to himself as he covered his sword in Phoenix Flame.
"Turn to dust!" Ryuu slashed the air and shot out a wave of flames towards the opponents. He killed most of them, the ones from behind dodged out of the way.
Ryuu threw kunais at them. "Flying raijin Slash." Ryuu teleported and slashed them through their chest with his sword.
After confirming they're all dead, Ryuu left Phoenix Flame mode and went back to Shikaku.
"Shikaku are you alright?" He nodded
"What happened? I came to help you out because we found Inoichi badly injured."
Shikaku's eyes widened.
"Is he ok?" I nodded.
"After we found him, I teleported him back to a hospital in Konoha. They said he'll be fine, what happened?"
Shikaku frowned and said.
"We found three warehouses at different locations we separated, each of us took one, I'm guessing inoichi found the right one, we were supposed to come back after we found them."
Inoichi must've found the right one.
"We have to go find Choza. I haven't heard from him, and I'm afraid he'll also get ambushed."
He nodded.
"You go back to the Hotel and recover. If you come with me, you'll only get in the way. You're too exhausted to fight, but get ready. I'll need your help after I come back."
He was hesitant to agree, but he's intelligent enough to understand that I don't mean disrespect.
"Oh and shikaku, you'll find some guests in our hotel. Don't worry about it."
Shikaku was confused as to what I was talking about, but he didn't care, so he just left.
"Alright, Choza, just hang in there for a little while."
Ryuu tracked Choza's chakra to an abandoned warehouse.
"I can sense multiple chakra signatures around him. I hope Fuguki hasn't gotten to you."
