Chapter 22: Deception.
Wow, this place hasn't changed one bit. It's just like it was when I left. I haven't been here in so long. We usually meet at the training grounds or at uncle's place.
Wait a minute, that was not there the last time I was here.
Ryuu walked in and grabbed some large scrolls pulled up in the corner.
"What is this? It has my name on it. What's it about, dad?"
Sakumo walked in and read it, it looked like he didn't even know about it.
"Hmm I see, Ryuu, these are for you. This one says that the Hokage wants you in his office tomorrow midday, and the other ones can only be opened by your blood spilled.
It seems like yuris signature fuinjutsu.
She has great skill in sealing techniques, but her most famous ones are just like this. She could seal everything in her special sealing formula, which could only be opened by the blood of the user and selected few, but it only works when the user isn't being forced and is willing to spill their blood."
So that's how mother sealed everything in the book, huh?
"Not again, I'm tired of going to the Hokages office, you know." Sakumo looked at him with a surprised face.
"Well, too bad you get to meet the Hokage sounds like real trouble for your life," Kakashi said sarcastically
"Now look, I haven't been here for ten minutes and you're already bringing back the sarcasm."
Sakumo just smiled watching the two, thinking about how much they've both grown up.
"Alright you guys, calm down and rest, you both have a busy day tomorrow plus I want to see how powerful you've gotten so we'll have a spar after school and after you leave the hokage's office."
"Fine," they both said at the same time.
Sakumo just shook his head.
Sigh Just like the good old days.
Ryuu went to his old room and opened the door. "HUH, what happened to my room? It's all messed up now!"
Sakumo scratched his head and said. "That's right, sorry about that. We used your room to store old things we weren't using, and it became dusty." Ryuu looked down and sighed while whispering to himself."Now, where am I going to sleep? I can't possibly sleep here and I don't have time to clean it."
"I tried to remind dad that we should clean your room before you come back but he didn't listen, but no problem. You can sleep in my room tonight and I'll help you clean it up, tomorrow alright?"
I nodded and smiled
An hour later Sakumo was asleep meanwhile Ryuu and Kakashi were still awake they were just waiting for him to sleep. But they had to be careful, so they whispered.
"Hey Ryuu, you told me you'd tell me about what happened after you left with Krueger-sensei."
"Yeah well, you remember the paper he gave me?" Kakashi nodded
"That's right, what was that about?" He asked.
"Well, you see I fell asleep in class because it was too easy and Krueger-sensei wanted to punish me, so he gave me that paper, usually it would be too difficult for a kid our age so I was expected to fail, however, I found it easy and I finished it in 10 minutes, when I gave him the paper back he was shocked cause it turns out, the paper was actually the written test provided to graduate the academy, how funny is that right Kakashi?"
It surprised Kakashi that Ryuu could actually finish the test.
"Oh, and the best part of this is that I also became the 2nd person to finish it with perfect scores and I became the youngest ever."
At this point, Ryuu has left me in the dust. Sigh. Kakashi had a frown on his face and Ryuu noticed it.
"Oh, cheer up Kakashi, now that I'm back we can train together and you can also become as powerful as I am, you know. Plus, being this talented isn't all that great after all tomorrow when you're going to hang out with your friends. And I'm probably getting some boring lectures from Sarutobi-sensei." Ryuu smiled as he told him that.
"Oh, that's right I didn't even think about it like that, well if that's the case then I'll have to work harder so we can get more time to train together, but I know eventually you'll leave me behind and I've accepted that but I won't allow you to leave me by so far behind," Kakashi said with a more energetic tone behind his voice.
The two boys went to sleep, each of them was eager to start the day early and get to train with each other faster. They haven't teamed up in so long, but they know each other's capabilities well enough to trust each other.
The next morning arrived in an instant.
I didn't even get to enjoy my sleep, but oh well, I'm used to it.
Ryuu got up from bed and saw that Kakashi was still asleep and so was sakumo.
Well, this is the right time to perfect my new power. I'll sneak out and meditate for a couple of hours, where I usually do before they wake up.
He snuck out of the house and left for a nearby forest where he would usually go.
It was a peaceful and empty land with no sound except for the birds chirping; the wind blowing the grass and the waterfall in the background. This land had a fresh scent of fresh air. The atmosphere was perfect for meditating.
At Least now I can sense them waking up and I can sense anyone near me so it shouldn't be trouble staying here for a while
Ryuu sat down with his legs crossed and started meditating.
Through the 1 year that had passed Ryuu was focusing on his ninjutsu and other shinobi qualities and abilities, but he was also doing some meditation, he felt a powerful energy surge through his body but it was also like two energy's were fighting against each other Striving for balance.
This must be nature energy, I must look for Jiraiya when I get the opportunity.
Ryuu continued meditating for 3 more hours.
Suddenly Ryuu opened his eyes, and the Sharingan was there. "I know you're there, there's no use trying to hide. Your chakra is unique." Ryuu said to draw him out
"you've been watching me for an hour. I just ignored it, hoping you would go away, but here we are."
FWOOSH a man appeared in front of Ryuu, but he kept his cool.
"I see you've already unlocked the two tomoe Sharingan, Hanzo would be so proud." He said mockingly.
"Who are you and what do you want with my father and I, and sorry for the late news, but dear Dad is dead," I responded calmly.
"Hmph, I only wish I could've been the one to put him down."
BOOM
A Shockwave of chakra exploded and left a massive hole in the ground it was sent by Ryuu to intimidate him.
"Hahaha, I see you have his temper, but your chakra, oh that chakra is none other than your mother's."
Did he just laugh at that? Who is this guy?
Ryuu stood up and cracked his neck and fists. "Fine then, it looks like we might be here for a while, so why don't you tell me your real name."
The man in front of him smirked and said." Well, what could you possibly mean by that? My name is Krueger Nakamura after all." Ryuu frowned.
"No, it's not you're lying and you've been lying the whole time, you see the fact that you haven't been detected by anyone means either we are connected somehow but I doubt that, my sensory abilities are far Greater than anyone in the village, I can sense all deceiving chakra and that includes those used for stealth like the transformation jutsu or the chakra suppressing technique in this case you're using both.
So I'll ask once more before I get the answers from your rotting corpse WHO ARE YOU?" Ryuu built up his chakra for an attack.
"Hmph, so he is a genius, after all. I should've known only you could figure it out. After all, we're more alike than you think Ryuu." Ryuus' face cringed in disgust.
"There's a vast difference between you and me and it's me not hiding my true self. In fact, I embrace it, especially when in battle, and by the way, I'm done waiting for your response."
"Very well then, if you really want this fight, so be it." Krueger released the transformation Jutsu. POOF out of the white smoke a man stood with short Black hair with red tips, he wore a black full mask with writing that had a canceled word for Mother on the top, he wore a short-sleeve coat and black sweatpants the right side of his body was wrapped in bandages maybe he has a wound right there, whatever the reason I still want to know.
