Chapter 33: A night out...
Ryuu and Kakashi were heading to the restaurant where they were supposed to meet…
"Ryuu, why didn't we just teleport there?" Kakashi asked.
"Well, I wasn't supposed to tell you about this it's supposed to be a surprise to you guys although I think Big sis forced it out of Minato so in short probably the only one who doesn't know now is Jiraiya-sensei so when we go show you guys the jutsu you have to pretend you haven't seen it before."
Kakashi nodded.
Ten minutes later…
Ryuu and Kakashi reached the restaurant. It was a little busy but not full of many customers. It specialised in serving steak.
They went to look for Minato and the rest. It was easy because Ryuu already memorised their chakra.
Plus, kushina's red hair isn't Very common in the village. In fact, she and Ryuu are the only ones who have it, so it's easy to identify where they're and what they look like.
They all reached at nearly the same time except Jiraiya-sensei. He was the only one who wasn't nearby.
Ryuu and Kakashi went to Minato and Kushina.
On their way, their news about Ryuu and his academy records was still buzzing in Konoha, and he could hear people still talking about him and looking at him.
They went to greet each other, then sat down.
"Ryuu, where did you guys go? We were looking for you." Minato said.
"Well, Kakashi and I went home. I needed his help with something." Ryuu said he wasn't sure if he could tell Minato about his new abilities.
"What we're you doing?"
Kushina asked.
"Well, it's kind of new Jutsu I'm working on, but I can only tell you guys what it is after I learn to control it."
Ryuu replied.
"That's great, now that I've mastered the Flying Raijin jutsu I can start working on my own Jutsu, although making your own justu will be difficult, I know mine will be amazing, I haven't figured out a name for it yet."
Minato excitedly said.
"Well, I look forward to seeing this new jutsu, but I look forward to showing off my new jutsu." Ryuu Proudly stated.
"Sigh" a collective sigh from the group what else did they expect from Ryuu? He just loves showing off.
"Where did Jiraiya-sensei go? Do you know Big bro?"
Minato shook his head.
"Maybe he's been called by the Hokage for a mission." Minato said.
"Or maybe he's busy being a pervert." Ryuu said
Minato's face became dull, and he just kept quiet, refusing to say anything.
"Anyway, let's order some food. After this long day, I'm starving." Kakashi said.
Ryuu nodded.
They all ordered their food.
"Hey Kakashi, let's see who eats the most."
Ryuu suggested.
"No way Ryuu, you eat like you're from the Akimichi clan."
"Haha haha" They all laughed at Ryuu.
He just ignored them all and continued eating.
After catching up and having fun, the bill came.
Minato read the bill. He turned pale and had a frown he regretted being the one who suggested this.
We all laughed at him when we saw his face.
After paying the bill, they left the restaurant and went to the training grounds.
"Isn't it a little too late to go for training?" Kushina naggingly asked.
"It's never too late for training, but that's not what we're going for, right Big bro?"
Ryuu said.
"That's right. In fact, why don't we take that new shortcut we made, right Ryuu?"
Ryuu nodded.
Both Minato and Ryuu placed seals on Kakashi and Kushina and teleported to the training grounds. Minato had left Ryuu's Kunai there, and he teleported to it.
Neither Kushina nor Kakashi were shocked after having such a fun night. They must've forgotten it's supposed to be a surprise.
Minato and Ryuu slapped their faces.
"I'm guessing Kushina forced it out of you."
Minato nodded.
"I'm guessing you had to use it to speed things up." Ryuu nodded.
"Sigh" they both sighed as they were too tired to even complain.
"Well, at least now we can show Jiraiya-sensei and Sarutobi-sensei, right?"
Minato nodded. "That's right, I'll see you tomorrow."
They all said their goodbyes and left. Ryuu was too tired to walk all the way and just teleported back home.
When we came back home, we didn't find dad, but we found a letter explaining that he also went out.
Ryuu gestured to Kakashi to follow him.
They entered Ryuu's room; he took his book and teleported back to where he usually trains by himself. He left his last kunai there.
"I need to make more kunai."
Ryuu said
"Why are we back here?"
Kakashi asked.
Ryuu opened his Sharingan and said.
"We're here to train obviously, you need to work to improve your chakra and I need to work on this new fire ability,
But don't worry I'll join in on your training as well I can't let my chakra stay like this I also have to improve it further plus, you don't have to go to the academy tomorrow we can just sleep and play with Obito and the rest later." Ryuu replied.
"Sigh, Ryuu, you train too much but I can't let you leave me behind so ill stay."
Ryuu smiled at his response.
Kakashi went to train.
Ryuu sat on the ground and crossed his legs. I cut myself and opened the book.
He found the page he was on when he learned about his ability and found the same words. He flipped to the next page.
This page differed from the others.
'The way it's designed it clearly isn't designed by my father and my Mother but I thought were the only ones who can access the book.'
Kakashi noticed Ryuu's troubled look.
"What's wrong Ryuu?" Kakashi asked.
"There's an unknown part of the book that I don't think my parents wrote."
Kakashi looked just as stunned as Ryuu.
"But how? I thought you and your parents were the only ones who could have access to that book."
"That's what I thought as well. Maybe I was wrong or maybe I'm just overthinking it. After all, I haven't even checked what's written on it." Ryuu replied.
"Maybe… anyway, I'll continue training now."
Kakashi said and went back to training.
"Man, this is so bothersome. Why is life so dull!" Ryuu said to himself.
He was getting frustrated with all this.
Ryuu flipped to the next page.
"Another test!" Ryuu shouted.
"Honestly, why would it have even more tests? What kind of idiot wrote this chapter?"
Ryuu frustratedly said.
"This test is quick and simple."
"Rip this page out and burn it on a flat surface. Also, something important is, if you burn the paper with normal fire, it will just turn into ash. Use your new ability.
Once you've done that, it will reveal itself."
Ryuu ripped the page, as he was told, then looked for a rock he could break and use as a table.
"Damn, I wish I could use wood style. You were lucky, Lord, first."
He said to himself.
Ryuu found one and put the paper down.
He grabbed his sword and infused it with a bit of chakra. He stood near it and simply cut through the rock.
The rock split in half and the top half fell to the ground.
Ryuu's sword is sharper than almost anything.
Kakashi saw this and went to Ryuu.
"Wow, your sword is incredible, Ryuu. Where did you get it?"
"My father passed it down to me. He lost his in battle, unfortunately if you want to use it, my direct blood relative like a brother, son, or father can only use it."
Kakashi nodded while staring at Ryuu's sword.
Ryuu put it back and placed the paper on the stone.
"What are you doing?" Kakashi asked.
"This stupid book wants me to burn this paper using the flame ability I awakened, problem is I don't know how to control it." Ryuu said.
"Just do what fake Krueger did."
Ryuu's eyes widened, and he shouted.
"Kakashi you genius! Why didn't I think of that? If I focus, I should be able to call the flames and they'll follow my will."
Kakashi slapped his face.
"sometimes you remind me of Obito"
Ryuu stood back from Kakashi and held his arm up.
From what he could remember, Krueger mentioned spiritual energy. This should be easier for him because he's been meditating for a while.
"Alright, stand back in case this goes wrong." Kakashi nodded and took a few steps back.
I'll try to keep this flame controlled and only on my arm.
Ryuu held his right arm up and felt like his skin was sizzling then…
"Swoosh" Ryuu's entire right arm was on fire…
"It worked!" Ryuu excitedly said.
"Quick, get to the page. We don't know if it'll last long." Kakashi quickly pointed out.
Ryuu quickly ran to the paper.
He used his finger to ignite the paper, and it burned quickly, turning into Ash.
"Huh? Nothing happened, has all this been for nothing!?" Ryuu said frustratedly.
"Ryuu, look at the book." Kakashi said.
Ryuu went over to the book and found a new chapter...
