Chapter 18: The Monster Killer
Mariner: "Yes Princess. And the horrifying fact is that this mutation has been caused by using dark magic or black magic which is generally used to harm others."
After hearing these words of Mariner, Princess Jasmine became very sad as her heart got filled with the sadness about knowing the pain which this monster must have gone through.
Princess Jasmine: "Mariner you are a Djinn. You are so powerful and have so much magical powers. Can't you turn this monster back to it's original form."
Mariner: "Princess if it was possible for me I would have done that by now. But you see this mutation is done by dark magic and that to be a very strong dark magic which has no counter in this entire world."
Princess Jasmine: "Then what should we do now ? We can't let this monster to harm my people anymore. They are innocent and have already suffered more."
Although Jasmine has some level of sympathy towards this monster after knowing about it from Mariner, but still her people comes first for her.
And she can't deny the fact that this monster has made great devastating loss for her, for her Agrabah and for her people and for this she can't forgive this monster.
So she wants to completely finish thie monster to make sure her people don't get more trouble and that's why she is hoping for some way from Mariner to finish this monster.
After hearing from Princess Jasmine, Mariner took his time for a few moments to think about something and then looking at Princess Jasmine, he told her, "Princess there is one way for us."
Hearing his answer a light of happiness sparkled in the eyes of Princess Jasmine and she replied, "What is it Mariner ?"
Mariner: "We have to put him out of his misery. We have to kill him."
Hearing these words of Mariner, Princess Jasmine felt a little sad as she thought about the innocent animal who has been used as a tool for a sinister purpose for someone else.
Mariner immediately felt the concerns growing in the heart of Princess Jasmine and observing this concern of her, he said, "Princess you are like the lamp which can dispel any darkness. And the flame for that lamp to dispel darkness is your innocence, truthfulness and justice. For your people. For your truth, justice. For that innocent animal locked inside this big and dangerous monster. You have to kill him. Only you can kill him Princess. Kill him Princess."
These words created a significant effect in the heart of Princess Jasmine as her determination and resolve grew to new heights.
Princess Jasmine: "You are right Mariner. I will kill this monster."
With a very bright smile Mariner said, "Very good Princess."
Princess Jasmine: "Tell me what should I do ? Because our weapons are not dealing any significant damage to this monster."
Hearing this Mariner became a little serious as he spoke, "Princess as I said, this monster is not a natural made but rather created by dark magic. So to kill him we need a special weapon."
Hearing about the special weapon, Princess Jasmine became happy as she began to inquire about it, "Where is that weapon ? Do you know about it ?"
"Yes I know about it. But...", Mariner answered her question but a look of question lingered on his face.
Princess Jasmine: "But what Mariner ?"
Mariner: "Princess that weapon can only wielded by woman who has a pure heart with a great sense of justice and truth."
Mariner stated that the weapon in their talk in a special weapon that only Princess Jasmine can wield as she has the correct characteristics that are required to wield the weapon.
And hearing this Princess Jasmine became happy as she thought that with this weapon she can put an end on the monster once and for all.
But a question which is more of a concern emerged in her heart as she looked at the monster and seeing this look of concern on her face, Mariner asked her about to it to which she replied, "I am concerned about this monster. If I had to leave now for to get that weapon, I don't know how much time it will take to go there and then get that weapon and came back here and who knows in the middle of that this monster might completely annihilate my entire Agrabah."
Mariner understood her concern very well. So he put his hand on the shoulder of Princess Jasmine and told her, "Princess your concern is not futile. Hence let me take care of it."
After saying these words, Mariner too his hand away from her shoulder and then he looked at the monster who was silently looking at them.
Then he conjured an orb of glowing red color in his hand and shoot it towards the monster. While going towards the monster, the orb soon changed into a big net.
The big net soon dropped on the monster and bound him tightly and then a green smoke came out of the net that moved straight towards the nose of the monster.
And once the inhaled the entire smoke inside his body, he began to lost his consciousness.
Mariner: "Princess your concern has been resolved."
Looking at the monster and then at Mariner with an astonishment, Princess Jasmine asked him, "What have you done to that monster ?"
Mariner: "Princess, I have put that monster in a deep sleep for now while he bound with that net. So even if he comes out of his sleep, he will still remain bound with that net which will make him unable to do anything."
Hearing about this Princess Jasmine became very happy as she find some happiness and then Mariner looked at her and said, "Princess come with me to get the weapon."
"Sure Mariner let's go." Saying this Princess Jasmine looked at her soldiers and citizens and told them, "My Dear People and Soldiers, don't fear much for this monster has a very short life to live now. So just wait for a little longer till I bring the weapon to kill thie monster."
All of them: "Hail Princess Jasmine. Hail Princess Jasmine..."
"Let's go Princess." Saying these words Mariner held the waist of Princess Jasmine and pulled her closer to him and then said, "Please forgive me for my rudeness Princess but this is necessary for you. So that you can come with me to that place where that weapon is."
Although at first Princess Jasmine felt a bit uncomfortable but then hearing Mariner, she understood what he meant by doing that.
So she said to me with a smile, "Don't feel bad Mariner. I know it is necessary to do this. So let's go now."
Mariner: "Yes Princess. Now hold me tightly."
Hearing him, Princess Jasmine held him tightly and then slowly slowly Mariner began to levitate both himself and Princess Jasmine in the air.
And after reaching a certain distance, he immediately increased his speed and both of then flew away from there straight towards the place where this weapon is stored.
With the incredible speed of Mariner they both crossed Agrabah and then their nearby desert and another city in a blink of an eye and then Mariner landed both of them down in front of a cave.
Seeing the cave Mariner said, "Princess come with me the weapon is inside this cave."
Nodding her head, Princess Jasmine agreed with Mariner and followed him into the cave. After walking inside the cave while Mariner has created a torch using his powers, both of them reached in front of big rock.
Then Mariner gave the torch to Princess Jasmine to hold it and after that he used his magic to move the rock to the side.
Once the rock got moved, they both saw a room that was behind rock and then taking the torch from Princess Jasmine, Mariner led the way inside that room.
After entering inside the room they both saw a bright blue light lighting the properly and both of them then moved towards the source of that light.
Soon they saw a glowing spear which is standing tall while placed straight on a rock is emitting that blue light.
Reaching near it, Mariner said, "Princess this is the weapon for which we have came here. Go and took it out. That monster is waiting for it's salvation."
Hearing him, Princess Jasmine nodded her head and moved closer to the spear. Then she began to touch the spear and felt a kind of connection with it and she tightened her grip around the spear and with one shot pulled it out of the rock.
Holding the spear she became very happy and looked at Mariner who is also giving her a very pleasant smile and then Mariner told her that they should go now to which she agreed.
And then both of them came out of the room and then out of the cave and then just like previous time, Mariner held Princess Jasmine from her waist tightly closer to him and Princess Jasmine also held Mariner tightly and then both of them flew straight towards Agrabah.
Soon they both reached at Agrabah where they both saw the citizens and soldiers beating the sleeping monsters, throwing rocks and stones on him.
When they all saw Princess Jasmine with the weapon, they all backed out from the side of the monster.
Now Mariner once again used his magic and dispelled the net to unbound the monster from it's captive and then slowly slowly the monster began to regain it's consciousness.
Mariner: "Princess this is your chance. Kill that monster. Now."
Filled with her strong determination and will power, Princess Jasmine made her grip stronger around the spear and then running towards the monster, she launched the spear straight towards the monster which after going in the air, finally pierced the heart the heart of the monster.
"Painful roar...."
Giving out a painful roar the monster fall on the ground with it's death gripping him completely in it's clutches and finally the monster died.
