This is either the work of a novice author, or an extremely lazy one. The dialog is terrible, nobody sound right. First there was no reaserch into how military men speak, so they sound like kids trying to imitate a soldier they saw. Somehow even normal people are done weirdly, making even old men sound mentally challenged, as of he never grew up. Second the chapters are short and incorrectly formated, so they are hard to read, and they take the form of a diary more than a book in the sense that, something happened, something else happened, this one said something. This style can work sometimes, but this isn't it. What I think happend, is that the author read a lot of fanfiction and try to imitate them.
