Chapter 131: A Beast
Rooaarrrr!
The blonde tiger's roar echoed through the mountains and forests.
With a deep blow, the tiger threw Daryl to the ground, and just as it was about to bite him, a large man charged at the tiger and stabbed it in the side with a knife. But the tiger turned and bit the man's arm, then after knocking him to the ground, tore his head off with a powerful jerk of its jaws.
"Fire!"
One by one, the people who had followed Daryl thought they could breathe a sigh of relief after having taken down the grizzly bear, but upon seeing the tiger's appearance, many had a single thought: to flee.

While one group engaged the enemies at the rear, another group confronted the tiger and began firing in its direction.
"Come on, Daryl, the enemies are taken care of!" Just then, Rick arrived beside Daryl, who had a wound on his left shoulder, and helped him escape.
But how could the tiger, which had just tasted bloody meat, be willing to let them escape so easily? In no time, it began killing everyone in its path.
Turning around immediately after killing a target, it seemed to want to gather a large amount of food at once.
While the tiger hunted mindlessly, not far away on the snowy slope, Dominic and T-Dog followed the tracks along with Glenn after hearing a distress signal.
"Damn it, I didn't expect there to be animals capable of making that kind of roar!"
Glenn scratched his hair awkwardly, thinking about his recent decision to hunt bears with Merle and Daryl. If this big guy ran out while dealing with bears, it would be really bad.
But he quickly put a smile on his face and said, "At least we know nature is thriving!"
"It's really amazing."
Hearing the gunshots, Dominic raised his binoculars to observe the surrounding situation. After identifying that there were no more enemies, aside from the distant gunfire sounds, he soon saw the tiger moving forward.
"How did this tiger appear in this place?"
"It must have escaped from a nearby zoo and hidden in this protected area."
Glenn was not surprised at all and replied, "I heard that when the disaster broke out, many zoo animals were left behind, and many of them were carnivores. This protected area is rich in meat resources, so it's not unusual for them to be attracted here."
"That makes sense..."
Upon hearing this, Dominic thought for a moment, then dismissed it and said, "Whatever the case, we need to save Daryl and the rest of the group as soon as possible."

Immediately, Dominic stopped talking about what needed to be done and said, "We don't know if the enemies were killed, so I want us to keep a good lookout outside. No one should flee; that complicates things."

Dominic nodded. He also wanted to save Daryl as soon as possible, but that didn't give him the right to endanger the people behind him, knowing that the value of a life is priceless. With this knowledge, he relied on Daryl's luck to survive.

While the two were talking, there were bursts of gunfire in the distant forest, and the screams from there could even be faintly heard.
Hearing the commotion, Glenn quickened his pace: "We need to hurry; our people are in danger."
But at that moment, the bushes moved, and Dominic, who was in front, drew a knife and raised his hand to prevent anyone from shooting hastily. He prepared to attack if necessary.
"It's us; don't shoot!"
Just when Dominic thought it was an animal, a familiar voice came from the bushes, and Daryl, along with Rick, who had his arm covered in blood, emerged from the bushes.
"Daryl!" At this point, Glenn stepped forward, and Dominic, seeing that everything was as fine as it could be, signaled the soldiers, with half staying behind and the rest advancing.
"It's a damn tiger!" Daryl said it with a cold expression.
Dominic only smiled nervously and said, "It seems you couldn't tame a tiger like Ezekiel."
It was then that Dominic noticed the ground ahead was covered in bloody corpses, and the tiger had thrown the last living man to the ground.
"We're almost there."
Dominic advanced slowly, stretched his muscles a bit, and said, "Everyone get ready."
"Isn't this... too dangerous?"
Seeing Dominic continue ahead, Negan crouched and said, "Using weapons from this distance shouldn't be a problem."
"I don't want to risk letting an animal like that live. Wait a few seconds here. Don't worry, considering that Daryl's group originally went hunting, they didn't carry good weapons, a big mistake."
After finishing speaking, Dominic slid down the slope, but instead of moving towards the tiger, he ran to the right.
He looked at the trees and waited until he saw a familiar sign before stopping.
Then Dominic stared at the nearby tiger, put two fingers to his mouth, and whistled loudly to get its attention.
Shhhh!
The sharp whistle was extremely harsh. The tiger, which was eating large chunks of meat, paused for a moment, slowly raised its head, looked in the direction of the whistle, and saw a target it had just hunted standing there, watching it.
Hoo, hoo!
As if very provoked, the tiger showed a fierce expression, roared angrily, and galloped towards Dominic.
Watching the tiger get closer, Dominic raised the rifle in his hand and kept firing. At the same time, the ground trembled as the tiger calculated its movements to dodge.
Bang!
And the next bullet fired directly at the tiger's head.
But a shocking scene appeared. The moment Dominic fired, the tiger seemed to sense the threat of the bullet and quickly dodged in advance.
Seeing this, Dominic frowned slightly and adjusted his aim to fire again.
The tiger dodged again ahead of time, with an imperceptible cunning glinting in its eyes. Seeing the prey already within reach, it pounced deeply towards the opponent.
Seeing the tiger lunging at him, an invisible sense of oppression instantly hit him. Dominic decisively dropped the weapon in his hand, concentrated his strength in his muscles, and, with perfect control of his body, stepped aside and dodged.
Watching the tiger leap past him, the corners of his mouth unconsciously curled up, and he turned his head to look at the area behind him. At the same time, he drew his two long machetes and, feeling that familiar sense of crisis and anger, exerted all his strength and attacked the tiger without hesitation.
Roar!
Dominic's strike cut the tiger's front legs, and it roared in terror. But Dominic's subsequent attacks sliced the tiger's body in a special way.
As blood dripped from the sharp blade, Dominic slowly walked towards the fallen tiger.
"I haven't lost my talent yet!"
"Dominic, watch out!"
Just as Dominic turned his head to call out to Negan, he suddenly heard Negan's shout in his ear.
Hearing this, Dominic noticed the abnormal noise coming from his side, and a sense of crisis suddenly arose in his heart. The strength he was about to recover unconsciously traveled through his body again, and he tried to dodge sideways.
But this time, his movements were a bit slower. Just as he turned, he was knocked to the ground by an approaching figure.
A stench covered his face, and Dominic fell heavily to the ground. When he opened his eyes, he saw a mouth full of fangs trying to bite him.
"What?!"
His pupils contracted for a moment, and Dominic's eyes reflected another fierce face of a different tiger.
