"That's alright. Do you want to stay back for dinner?" George asked Jian Yiling. His voice was kind and humble.
"No thank you," Jian Yiling responded politely.
"I plan to go back," Jian Yiling added after a moment.
As Jian Yiling said that, George did not force them to stay. Instead, he personally walked them over to the door and watched them get into the car.
Back in the car, everyone other than Jian Yiling was still incredibly confused.
They were reflecting on the ups and downs that they had experienced this afternoon.
On the way back, the five of them sat in the backseat of a Rolls-Royce.
"God Ling, didn't you say you didn't know the elders of the Goodman family?" Yu Xi whispered to Jian Yiling.
For some reason, George's attitude towards God Ling was quite friendly. It didn't seem as though he didn't know her.
