Jaxon grinned, leaning back against the headboard. "Good," he said, pulling the blanket around both of them. "Then I'll consider this a win."

Orion shook his head, but the smile on his face was genuine. As the fire crackled softly in the background, he allowed himself to relax, leaning into Jaxon's warmth, finding comfort in the steady rise and fall of his breathing.

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, their breathing falling into sync. After a while, Jaxon shifted, making an attempt to stand. "I should leave you to sleep," he murmured, his voice low, though his reluctance was clear in the way he hesitated.

Orion turned to him quickly, his brows furrowed slightly. "No. Stay," he said softly, catching Jaxon's arm before he could fully rise. "I want you to stay… sleep with me."
