The first rays of sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a soft, golden glow over the chamber. Jaxon stirred, slowly awakening to the warmth pressed against his chest. He glanced down, a tender smile forming as his gaze fell upon Orion, nestled close with his hair in disarray and his breathing deep and steady.

The memory of the night before flooded Jaxon's mind, the kiss, the closeness, the way Orion's lips felt against his, and he felt a sense of rightness, as though a missing piece of his life had finally been found.
