Meanwhile ayra was too worried about the quiz she wrote earlier to get angry at her family or perhaps she was growing a thicker skin and their words didn't matter anymore. God please let it be the latter she muttered to herself . Stripping off her school clothes she wondered what her score would be and hoped she made a perfect score .
Hmmm why worry about something that she couldn't control? Come what may I would be fine right?
No I won't she replied her reflection in the mirror I would literally dieeeee if I score a "B" Oh no what am I gonna do? I know I should have studied more she said pacing around her room if only -
"What is wrong with you? Why are you talking to yourself? " A voice rang out in her room suddenly
Gosh she hastily sat down on her bed and didn't have to turn to know who the owner if the voice was " Alice this is invasion of privacy why didn't you knock before entering my room" ?
" Are you okay? You looked really anxious a second ago anyone bothering you in school? "
Ayra snorted "right like you care "she said scornfully.
She opened her mouth to say something then closed it back "what if I care huh? Will that be so bad for you to digest? "
"No but I would ask you to mind your damn business my dear sister".
"Okay I really don't care what's up with you but I don't want anything to happen to you, I still need you to help me with an essay assignments and a party then you can go fuvk yourself".
"Which party are you talking about? "
"My birthday party of course it's gonna be lit can't wait".
"Oh I don't care about parties" Ayra muttered distractedly.
"I know since you can't help me with the preparation of the party you can help with my assignment so I can concentrate more on the party "she added nodding her head like she had found the solution to the world problems.
"Alice if you paid any attention to your studies like you do to parties and stuff am sure you would be able to write this essay by yourself besides the topic is really interesting " .
"Uhhh why does everything have to be educational with you anyways let's not run around in circles since the topic is so "interesting" do it yourself lil ' sis" .
" But it's not my responsibi- " Ayra began softly but was abruptly cut short.
"Thank youuuuu Alice chanted in a sing song voice and walked away from her room".
"Ahhhhhhh she would be the death of me" she thought making sure to shut the door this time and knowing alice she would demand the essay the next morning so the sonner she got to the task the better for her .
Ayra settled down on her desk after making sure everything she would need was there her palm top, ballpen, and book for jotting took a deep breath and began on her task within an hour she was done satisfied with her well defined essay she smiled beautifully.
Little wonder how a finished assignment could boost one's spirt and bruised, scared ego, well it seems writing her sister's essay did her a well of good ,not that she would admit it to her though.
She stretched her body and yawned hungrily opening her junk stash she took an ores and coke and munched on it heartily suddenly her eyes zeroed on the note jack had given her it was lying on the floor probably slipped from her clothes. She went over to the floor and picked it slowly and carefully like it was some sort of a dangerous animal that would pounce at her at any moment. She read it countless times again the sweetest thing a boy has ever said to her, holding the note in her heart she layed down on her bed and smiled sheepishly to herself. Never had she thought of a boy for a long duration of time boys normally stayed clear of her they were probably intimidated by her brain or didn't like her aesthetic taste plus Alice was so gorgeous that she paled into insignificant in the minds of boys.
Truthfully she had never cared but now she had a sudden urge to dress pretty and apply makeup to school tomorrow . Gawd she didn't need this distracting feelings she had to focus on her studies it was the only aspect she was better than alice but her heart didn't listen to her because she thought of Jack and his drop dead gorgeous smiles till she slept off.
