Chapter 147: Beast Lumi [Shrine attack Finale]

Black essence swirled around Lumi while her body transformed. Reia and Akira tried to fire a few bullets, but Lumi's overflowing essence stopped any attack from getting close. All Reia and Akira could do was wait for the transformation to finish. 

They would have used the time to set up traps, but they had not gotten that far when making essence equipment. Echo had been focused on setting up a way to communicate long distances so he didn't have time to make any essence explosives. 

Aoi also could possibly make them, but she didn't have any of the tools or materials which she partially relied on Echo to provide.

A burst of black essence pulsed through the room, getting rid of the small area of essence around Lumi. 

Lumi fell to her knees holding her head with a newly transformed body that now looked like a proper beast. She was just like Reia, but instead of the beast features being essence she has properly become a fox.
