Chapter 84: Tenderness and Affection

He Lixue was in a deep sleep as she rested against Lu Nanfeng's chest. Her slumber was dreamless, and she could focus solely on rejuvenating herself, restoring all the energy that she had lost before. 

Lu Nanfeng originally planned to only let her rest for a few hours so that she could also sleep during night time, but upon closer inspection of her sleeping face, and seeing the gentle smile at the corner of her lips; he could not make himself interrupt her sleep and wake her up.

He Lixue was simply too exhausted, and she slept through the entire day and night, so when she woke up again, it was the morning of the following day. 

The time was five in the morning, and the sun had not yet broken through the horizon, causing the bedroom to be slightly dark.
