Chapter 1: 1. Happy turns Sad
Selena smiled as she stared at the beautiful scene in front of her. Everything in the man in front of him looks so beautiful and perfect in his eyes.
All the movements of the man seemed to slow down like slow motion in the videos he often watched. He chewed, smiled, and looked at Selena lovingly.
Yes, it seems that Selena has fallen in love with the figure of the most perfect creature she has ever seen. The man was sitting alone with her while enjoying Selena's favorite chocolate ice cream.
Alvaro Sebastian. The first man who made Selena feel the beauty of love. And felt how his cheeks turned red when he said the words love and love to him two years ago.
"Come on, honey! Don't keep looking at me like that. What's wrong with my face? Is there something wrong?" he asked making Selena smile.
Selena shook her head then scooped the ice cream in front of her and put it in her mouth. Cold and melted inside.
"No! It's just, you look so beautiful in my eyes," said Selena, which might sound like a temptation to Alvaro.
"Geez! I'm not that beautiful. You don't make embarrass me. You even look more beautiful on this campus," he answered making Selena laugh.
"Oh come on, Babe! Can't you see? Everyone's staring at you? Even I'm envious to the point of wanting to poke their shameless eyes on my lover's face! Ah, I feel so annoyed," he grumbled as he ruffled the ice cream in front of him and made Alvaro laugh.
"Are you jealous?" he asked. Selena glanced at him and just snorted in annoyance.
"What's that, jealousy?" Selena asked stupidly.
"Hahahaha. You're so funny. Can't you just say that you're jealous of me?" said Alvaro who again with a crisp laugh and always smiled at the lover in front of him.
"Never mind, forget it! Tomorrow is our last day on campus. Haaahh, I don't think I want to leave here," Selena complained and looked at her surroundings which she might always miss after this.
"You're right! Four years of sitting in this college feel like home. To want to leave it is very difficult," replied Alvaro which made Selena chuckle in annoyance.
"Don't tell me you want to live here again just because you love this campus so much?!" Selena asked, slightly surprised.
Alvaro laughs again. It was as if his life had never been sad at all. Oh, no. That's not what Serena meant. As if with that woman, Alvaro would always laugh like that.
"How could I do that? While my lover will also get out of here. Ah?! Do you want to stay here again with me?!" he asked a little enthusiastically.

Selena patted Alvaro's shoulder a little hard which again made the man just laughed.
"I don't want to be given the title of perpetual student here," Selena grumbled and made Alvaro laugh even more.
"Maybe, if we were still on this campus, it would still keep us young," he said which made Selena roll her eyes, lazily.
"Still, we're getting older. I'm really happy to be on this campus, but I don't deny that college assignments always make me rack my brain," added the girl again.
"Yeah, I see. And I feel the same with you," Alvaro replied and Selena just shrugged lightly.
"Then, what are we going to do now?" asked Al and Selena looked at him thoughtfully.
"Em, I think, the ice cream should be finished first. And then, we will spend the day together, how?" Selena asked a little enthusiastically.
"I think, that is not a good idea," said Alvaro with a look of regret on his face.
"Why? Why? You don't like all day with me? Is there anything more interesting to you besides me? Is it because we graduated and you're tired of me?" asked Selena with a question she had been thinking about for the past few days.
Alvaro gave him a sharp look. Not the look of love he used to give Selena. What does it mean?
"You're always overthinking about me! Am I that bad in your eyes?" he asked still with a sharp look.
Serena took a deep breath. At least the sentence the man said made him a little relieved. Because that means what he suspected was not true. Selena hopefully so.
"I just..."
"Just too scared to lose me? isn't it?" guessed Alvaro with a big smile that looked very handsome in Selena's eyes. Argh! Even Selena was very upset by this atmosphere. Having a handsome boyfriend on campus makes him burn with jealousy.
"Hahaha, I know that, Selena. You don't need to say it. But, I've always known about you. You love me too much. Like me! And I love you, too much," said Alvaro which made him smile and Selena laughed.
Selena's cell phone rings. Alvaro stopped laughing after he signaled that his mother was on the phone.
"Yes, Mom?" Selena said in her usual cheerful tone. Alvaro gripped his hand tightly. Sometimes kissing him. Even when Selena tried to pull him away, he pulled her back again, as if reluctant to let go.
"Sorry, is this really with Mr. Harry's family?" asked someone from across there which instantly made Selena's heart flutter a little.
"Yes... That's right. Who am I talking to?" he asked quietly and a little worried. Alvaro was already worried about the look on his lover's face.
"Your father had an accident. Now they are in the hospital and, ..." said a voice from the other side making his heart limp for a moment.
Selena's heart and mind can't seem to work properly. Like hearing lightning in broad daylight that startled him. However, it was unable to make him make a sound.
"Selena? What's wrong?" asked Alvaro beside him. The girl heard Alvaro's voice. But this time his voice didn't sound like the love song he used to sing to her. But like the sound of a mosquito buzzing in his ear.
Selena squeezed her chest, it felt tight. As if she couldn't breathe. The news broke her heart.
"Selena?!!!" Alvaro woke her from his daydream. After that, Selena burst into tears which instantly made Alvaro take Selena into his arms.

Selena stared sadly, seeing her mother who was crying and wailing in front of her eyes. The white cloth covered the entire body of the person who had been his pride.
He lay limp with blood all over his body. Her mother could only cry from the bed next to her. He was just as hurt as his father. But, maybe the pain in his body wasn't as painful as his heart to see his soulmate gone for good.
He walked over to his father's body lying on the hospital bed. He removed the white cloth that covered his entire body. He could no longer hold back the tears when he saw with his own eyes, that it was his father. His hero, and his pride.
Selena squeezed the white cloth covering her father, her tears couldn't stop flowing. Sobs, roars, growls, and everything he spilled when he saw his father who was no longer alive.
Alvaro just held and hugged Selena who continued to beat her chest which might feel tight. Oh, that's not possible. But it's very congested.
"He's my father, Al! Why did he leave so fast?!" her tears broke and Alvaro just hugged her tightly. Feel the sadness that is also experienced by her lover now.
The doctor ran over and examined Selena's mother who then fainted after her heartbreaking cries.
"Mom?!!!"
