Synopsis
The first memory Shirou can think of is walking through a burning cityscape. The sounds of people calling for help as they burn to death could be heard across what can only be called hell. He walked through this hell holding onto a bundle of blankets that seem to be wrapped around something… or someone. Only two thoughts ran through Shirou’s mind. “Survive” and “Never again”.
8 years later, 14 year old Shirou lived in the NSQC with his little sister Miyu after being saved by a man named Kiritsugu, who recently passed away. Shirou, desperate for something to fill his empty vessel, adopted the dream of Kiritsugu—to become a Hero of Justice.
Opportunity arises as Shirou is infected by the Nightmare Spell, and has been given the chance to realize his dream.

This story is a crossover between the Fate Series(minor) and Shadow Slave(major), with inspiration from other series and fanfiction. I do not own either of the previously mentioned series, as I would be insanely rich if I did.
I highly recommend that you read Shadow Slave if you have not already, as you will be heavily spoiled on it. Fate Series knowledge is not necessary to fully understand Shirou’s character or abilities, as they are the only things that will be included from Fate(excluding the existence of Miyu and Kiritsugu).
To any Fate fans, if Shirou seems to act OOC later on, there is a reason for that, and will be explained in the story.
I hope you enjoy this story, and if you see anything that seems like a mistake, I would appreciate you commenting so that I could look into it, whether grammar or the story itself.

I'm not really used to rates stories but from what I read ( chapter 17) the writing quality is good enough to be immersed in the story with no flagrant grammatical mistakes ( English being my 2nd language ). Concerning the Story development as I said earlier I'm currently on chapter 17 but so far I don't see much incoherence compared to SS (though it doesn't mean that Shirou his just a bystander), concerning the character design there is not much to say As for the Updating stability we'll it's seems Stable enough . Regarding the world background we'll it's a SS fan fic so 5 stars guarantee The only flaw that I would give is that so far the dream realm seems to """soft""" compared to the original ( though it's only been a couple of chapter since they entered their first nightmare so it's too early too judges). Overall I really enjoyed reading the story so far and I can't wait for the next chapters.
I've read up to 7 chapters including the prologue and so far i like mc attributes. can't say more cuz it only has 7 chapters. i hope autthor updates more frequently cuz i think this fic has the potential to reach 100 of chapters. For those who are going to read this story, know that this MC is not Shirou Emiya, he doesn't look anything like the one from Stay Night or Miyu-Verse, he is a totally different character, he looks like he was more based on Alter and he has "Mind of Steel" since the fire, he finds happiness in killing monsters and is bipolar, he has nothing to do with the canonical versions, he has the "Mind of Steel" in a strange way when this ability should represent sacrificing his morals and feelings in favor of "justice", Steel Mind Shirou is the Shirou who had his "heart of glass" broken and moved forward like a machine, he takes no pleasure in his actions, he just does it, he would kill any ally or enemy For the sake of his goal, this Shirou would have sacrificed the army and left one of the two behind, choosing the more useful one and leaving and not this contradictory excuse.

I really like this so far, such as the spin the author took on shirou, or the take on his power like avalon not being an attribute but a growing memory. Only thing I don't really like his how fast the first and second arc were since 350+ chapters were compiled into just 20+
amazing But I have a question. Do you intend to making a part of the main cohort and I think he will be serving nephis with everything. Of course, he will not better do something unjust, but still I think he'll be loyal to her. Because. Even if she isn't moral She still brings justice and hope

Why do i feel that this MC is more similar to Cid Kagenou than Emiya Shirou, lol. He's crazy, clueless, knowledgeable, and kinda psycho at the same time. Keep up the good work [img=update]
Super interesting Combo with shadow Slave with fate. I really want to interaction later in the story, if this fanfiction get that far! Overall, I cant wait to see how far this fanfiction can go!
Will return to review once more chapters are out, but enjoying the concept and character interactions. The author does a good job adapting the characters in this cross over.
