Chapter 79: People

Ace jumped out of the window in the middle of the hallway to the nearest roof. 

Using that as a pathway, he continued to run along the roof, looking down at River and Grecia still training and Grecia still winning.

He laughed. I think I will have to teach him also. 

Turning from them, he looked on the opposite side of the building and at the crowd of people still there. 

Many looked tired as hell but they are still stubbornly sitting there. Some passed by and glared at the building before turning away. 

Should I even care about this little town? He thought, looking at them. They have done nothing but despise and throw rotten vegetables at me.

But they are afraid. He argued. I can never understand giving almost everything for other people but I do admire their dedication to them.
