Chapter 83: Kindness

Ace and Cleo turned in the direction of the voice, Cleo giving him a pleading look. 

"What?" 

"I know what you are going to do." It said, "But this isn't something too important. Remember, we have no way to go back in time for a while now. If you get hurt-" 

"I'm just going to check." Ace tried to reassure it before taking off in the direction of the voice as quickly as he could. 

"Why are you running so fast then?!" Cleo shouted, gripping onto the cloak for dear life, Ace putting on his mask. 

"I am not running at fast." Ace said, jumping to the top of a house and then looking over the edge to see a woman cornered by two men, each grabbing her hair and hands. "Cleo?" 

"Fine." It sighed as Ace summoned a bow and several arrows that he aimed at the men's leg. Releasing a breath, a shot was made, followed by a scream of pain. 

Taking another arrow, he shot it at the second man just as the man spotted him and began shouting.
