Chapter 60: Home

The moment they reached the main door to the party, Lucian disappeared with his coat and Ace was left alone to search for Ajax, who he found quite easily. 

Ajax welcomed him without asking a question and the two left the party. 

They reached back home when it was close to two in the morning.

Everyone in the castle was asleep, save for Rayold and Sae. The two were seated in front of the fire, waiting for the two to come back. 

"You didn't have to wait up for us, Sae. Rayold. Ajax said, carrying Ace in his arms as the two servants came up and helped them off their coats.

The boy was dozing off on the carriage, falling asleep every now and then. 

"His highness is sleeping?" Sae asked, looking over at Ace who kept his eyes shut as tightly as he could. 

"Yes. He kept falling asleep in the carriage." Ajax chuckled while Rayold helped him off his coat without moving Ace too much. "Where is Yates?"
