Chapter 58: Family Dinners (Part 2)

Ace just laid on the floor, not wanting to get up. 

Let me just lay here, I am tired. 

"Do you intend to lay there all your life, boy?" he heard a voice said and looked up to see a face that looks way too familiar for it to be normal. 

"Me??" he shouted, sitting up suddenly. 

"Don't flatter yourself." He heard Zachery say, sitting on her seat on the long table in the centre of the room. 

There were no chandeliers, fortunately. But there were several large, bay windows that were tightly shut. On the walls are all the pictures of the children, painted with their greatest achievements. 

Diem had the most paintings, from standing in front of a massive fire behind her to her sitting on top of a dragon, its blood all over her unsmiling face. Her mark, Pride, a three-faced lion, and colour, violet, decorated the frames.
