Chapter 76: Arrival

"We are here." General Longbow said, waking from his nap suddenly. "Almost."

Grecia released Ace who had a blank stare on his face, like his soul escaped his body already. 

"Ace?" River shook the boy. "Are you ok?" 

"Fine. I am fine." He said, stretching. 

Outside is a very grey setting, some houses couple of miles away from each other with little to no vegetation. 

They stared out the window at the road and the few people walking out of their houses and staring at them as they passed. 

"Where are we?" Grecia asked, stretching. 

"The port town of Aaks." General Longbow said, looking at the houses. "The people here are not used to visitors so I will need you all to start wearing your masks." 

Grecia and River reached under the seats and pulled out cloaks with the masks that Cleo and Ace made on top of it. 

They first wore the clocks and then the masks, making sure to hide their hair under the hood of the clocks.
