Chapter 228: Motive

"Sir! Langris enthusiastically called out. 

Lucien did not let go of the demon and have his blade thrusted even more deeper into the demon's back. Not showing even a shred of sympathy or hesitation to drive the demon to death. 

Lucien at this moment was as cold as the ghost hiding behind the deep corners of the Blood Tower. His expression is unreadable as he plunge the blade deeper into the demon's spine. 

Dan at this moment did not stop Lucien from what he's doing. Instead, he signaled the other men from the demon suppression to spread out and secure the area. 

The men followed his instructions without hesitation. 

Dan quietly stand in front of the battered figure of the demon on the ground. His cold eyes were notorious. Even the voice that came out of his lips is shallow and extremely ice chilling. 

"Where are your accomplices?" Dan stretched out his fingers and pointed to the demon's neck.
