Chapter 1: Monday
ELENA P.O.V
Elena wake up to a new day at her new apartment where she has been living since she turned 17.
- At 6:30am -
Elena: *starts to get ready to go school, gets dressed but receive a call from her friend Brandon (whose basically her best guy friend) and she answers the call* "hello?"
- phone call -
Brandon:"hey would you like me to pick you up? Susan fell asleep and would be ruining late"
Elena:"alright, thanks sorry for the trouble"
Brandon:"no problem at all, see ya in a bit"*smiling all the time*
Elena:" 'kay 'kay bye :)"
- end phone call -
*finishes getting ready, grabs her things prepares a quick breakfast while she waits for Brandon to pick her up*
- 10 mins later -
*brandon knocks on the door to her apartment*
Elena:*opens the door*"hey"
Brandon:"heyyyy you ready?"
Elena:"been waiting for half an hour"
Brandon:"omg I'm so so sorry"
Elena:" you should be *pretends to be mad but burst out laughing* hahahahahaha"
Brandon:"wait....what??"
Elena:"did you seriously believe that?? Omg you dummy"
Brandon:"wait it was a lie??"
Elena:"obviously dummy I was playing with you"
Brandon:"that's so not nice"
Elena:" I know"*sticks her tongue out playfully*
Brandon:"hmmmmm...lets go we gonna be late"
Elena:"haha I'm sorry snuggle bear"
Brandon:*blushes*"stop calling me that!! I hate it!!!"
Elena:*silence for a bit*"....okay"*gets keys to her apartment and locks the door behind her*"let's go then..."
Brandon:*thinks: dammmnit why did I say that!!!!? Ugh!* *walks silently with Elena to his car*
- on their way to school -
-FLASHBACK of Elena-
Elena: "hey mom! Hey dad! How's things going?"
Lilly (mom): "hey honey"*acts nervous*
Edgar (dad): "hey sweety how was school? You look happy"
Elena:" I'm always happy and are you guys okay?"*grabs a strawberry*
Lilly: *still nervous, drops a plate*" yes yes we-we are fine"
Elena:" mom? Mom! You drop a plate. You don't look fine what's wrong?"*helps her pick up the broken pieces and cleans up*
Lilly:"...nothing I'm fine"
Elena:*grabs her hands*"your shaking your not fine what's wrong? Dad??"
Edgar:*sighs*"we were going to wait until dinner but...."
Elena:"what is it??"
Edgar:"Elena your adopted"
Lilly:*starts crying*
Elena:"w-what?? Oh I get it it's a joke! Good one dad! Hehehhe"
Edgar:"..."
Elena:"why aren't you laughing?.....OMG IS THIS TRUE???!!!"
Lilly:"we are so so sorry honey we should have told you sooner...but...."
Elena:"no no it's okay...I'm just you know...shocked....surprise...feeling lots of emotions right now....."
Edgar:"look just because we adopted you doesn't mean we just love you cause of pity no! Not at all we love you like our own daughter"
Elena:*sobs*"and I love you guys too...but...I was thinking I don't wanna be a burden to you guys anymore so I wanna move out....clear my head a bit..."
Lilly:*sobs*"we get it sweety..and you know what..we will get you your own apartment as soon as your 17...but *tears roll down her eyes* remember you have a family here...so if you need anything let us know.."
Elena:" I will mom..."
*they all hug each other in a group hug*
Edgar:"hey you know what?? How about we go on a trip later on...yeah? We can do it like when you were little!"
Lilly:"yeah yeah"
Elena:*small smile*"alright I can't wait..let me get ready and I will help you guys make dinner...or you know what?? Let me make it today..I'll surprise you I have gotten pretty good if I say so myself"
Lilly and Edgar:" hahaha alright"
Edgar:" you will make dinner tonight...but don't poison us"
Elena:" awwww that's been a meanie I could never do that!"
Lilly:" we know sweetie...but you know how your father likes to make jokes"
Elena:" yes I know mom"*smiles and goes shower to get ready and help with dinner*
- Text message Brandon and Susan in a group chat -
We need to talk
Brandon: "I'll be back in 10"
Susan: "15 mins"
Elena: "20 getting ready to shower so I can make dinner so talk to you tonight after it"
Both: "alright ttyl"
- end of group chat -
*finishes showering 20 mins later and makes dinner for the family: menu- spaghetti with meatballs, salad on the side, wine for the parents and orange juice for her*
Lilly: "wow this looks great I'm starting to get jealous"
Elena:" well I learn it from you the cooking part and the romantic part from jokeful daddy over here"
Edgar:" hehe that's my girl"
(they start eating dinner and having fun and chatting about the trip they would be having later on)
- END FLASHBACK -
Elena: *thinks: after all that I texted Brandon and Susan told them what happen and they made me laugh more to feel better when my brithday came I moved into my new apartment went on the trip with them and the family or my adopted family and had more fun...maybe it wasn't so bad but questions are still going through my head...and now this that just happen with Brandon a few mins ago, *sighs in head* what a new day to start off bad....I'll call Lilly and Edgar later so we can have dinner again like a family*
Brandon: *breaks the silence*"hey"
Elena: *still inside her head*
Brandon: *shakes her leg a bit*" hey I'm sorry about what happen"
Elena:" hmm?? It's fine..forget about it"
-mins later at school-
Susan:"hey guys"*hyper*
Elena:"hey you look energetic like always"
Susan:" yeah we'll sort of sleep in...I'm so sorry I couldn't come pick you up today"
Elena:"hey it's cool no problem..now let's head to class we only have 5 mins to get there"
Susan:"OMG SO TRUE LETS GO!!!"
*they laugh and start running to class, they got there in 4 mins and sitted on their sits*
*teacher started giving the lecture*
TRENT P.O.V
*Wakes up late like at 7:50am*
Trent:"ugh I hate school"*gets up and starts getting ready*
-Erick knocks and enters-
Erick:"yo bro! Let's skip like yesterday"
Trent:"huh nope 'cause I have some business to take care of.."
Erick:"oooooh a lady? *smirks* yeah yeah"
Trent:"nope I'm done playing around (with ladies)...looks at him* you should too"
Erick:"wait....wait wait...WHAT?!?! Bro are you crazy!!!! Playing around (with ladies) its my hobby I can't stop doing that!!!"
Trent:"well..you should otherwise your never getting a mate..and I'll be alpha soon so I have to find my mate"
Erick:"awwwwww but finding a mate is too hard!!! Ladies already hate us for been players"
Trent:"maybe *puts his shoes on* but I'm changing that title for me since you know"
Erick:"yes your the next alpha blah blah blah"
Trent:"you lucky I can't kick you out cause your like my family"
Erick:"and you love me"
Trent:*pretends to think for a min*"nah"
Erick:*acts so 'lady sensitive'*"awwww sweetie I'm hurt"
Trent:"please stop the lady act...*looks at him*..you don't look a bit like one"
*both start laughing*
Trent:"come on let's go to school..or I'll meet you there since your still in your...umm pajamas"
Erick:"alright see ya"
*Trent grabs something to eat on the way and heads to school, gets there almost when class it's finished*
-At School-
Trent:*enters the room and has eyes contact with Elena and had like a connection for a moment*
ELENA P.O.V
Elena:*makes eyes contact with Trent when he entered the class room, then gets back and listens to the lesson and takes note*
Teacher:"Your late Mr.Jones"
Trent:"see it's just my car broke and..."
Teacher:"save it and take a sit"
Trent:"yes sir"
Elena:*thinks: wow how long would those excuses last? Oh welllllll...none of my business*
Teacher:"can anyone tell me what's the name of this cell?? *calls out Trent since he's using his phone* Mr.Jones?"
Trent:"yes it's call a I don't care cell"
Teacher:"how is this 'would you like a detention' cell??"
Trent:"hahaha you can give me all the detentions you like but I'm pretty sure you won't last 2 hours with me in it"
Elena:*thinks: omg is he for real??* *face palm silently*
*bell rings and everyone heads out*
Teacher:"Elena and Brandon and Susan may I talk to you for a sec?"
3 of them:"sure"
Teacher:"here's the thing you guys are my best students and I was wondering if you Elena would tutor Trent but of course Brandon and Susan would be there to help"
Suzan:"HELL NAH count me out"*walks away*
Elena:*sighs*"do I really have to??"
Teacher:"Yes"
Brandon:"don't worry just tell me if you need help and I'll be there"
Elena:"when? and where?
Teacher:"everyday after school his house"
Elena:"WHAT?!?!!! B-b-but...."
Brandon:"no way sir!!!
Teacher:"where do you suggest then?"
Brandon:"library of course"
Teacher:"and you think he would show up??"
Elena:"...*thinks: I DONT WANT TO TUTOR HIM BRANDON THINK ANOTHER PLACE HE WOULD NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!*...."
Brandon:"fine my place"
Teacher:"alright"
Elena:"so....."
Teacher:"you may go now"
-outside of class-
Elena:"awwwww I don't want to tutor him!!!!! It's bad enough I need a job!!! Now I got to tutor for free not fun"
Brandon:"me neither and I totally agree with you"
Elena:"plus I'll bet a thousand that if he comes...it would be all over the news"
Brandon:"hahhahaa and I bet he would never ever show up!"
Elena:"right?? I mean he doesn't even like us and we don't like him so why should we be friends with the enemy"
Brandon:"well you know what they say 'keep your friends close but your enemies closer' true or nah?"
Elena:"hmmmmmm *pouts* true but I feel bad that you have to help too since well you have hated his guts ever since he bullied me in 9th grade"
Brandon:"you bet I do and I still hate him no one messes with my friends especially you"
Elena:"awwwwww your so sweet that's why your my best friend"
Brandon:"*thinks to himself: wish I was more than that* hahaha let's go to class and then find a way to get close to mr.idiot and get him to go to tutoring but I'm sure he would never will"
Elena:"hahahha you bet"
*they walk to class together*
TRENT P.O.V
Trent:*was listening all along and thinks: hell nah I'm don't want to be tutor but I guess that's the only way to see what that (connection) was when I walked in to class today*
Erick:"YO!!! Brother whats up???"*gives him a bro hug*
Trent:"..."
Erick:"yo?? Brooooooo??? You there??? Calling mr.future alpha back to EARTH!!!!!!"
Trent:"yes?"
Erick:"dude you space out on me!!!!! What's up???"
Trent:"nothing much"
Erick:"okay...do you have a fever?? Your acting extra weird today"
Trent:"no nothing wrong"
Erick:".....I'm worried now and I never worry..we got to get you to the nurse"*grabs him by the collar and drags to the nurse*
- Nurse Office-
Nurse:"hey boys"(acts normal but she's a wolf and Trent's cousin)
Erick:"yeah yeah quit the act Lucia we got ourselves a situation! Emergency!!"
Nurse:" geeez nice seeing you again rude ass! anyways...*locks the door and makes it sound proof so no one listens to the conversation* what's up??"
Erick:"mr.future alpha has been acting weird since this morning and just now I said said hi to him and the answer was silence and then when I ask what's up and stuff he said 'nah nothing much'"
Nurse:"okay so what happen this morning??"
Erick:"well I told him let's skip and have some fun he's answer was 'nah I'm gonna change that attitude I need to find my mate soon plus I'm the future alpha and I need to get serious' something like that"
Nurse:"what? I don't believe that"
Erick:"believe it"
Nurse:"wait what happen before you say hi?"
Erick:"don't have a clue"
Nurse:"how about when he got to class late??"
Erick:"don't know either cause I wasn't with him I was still at the pack house in my pajamas"
Nurse:"Trent tell me what happen??"
Trent:*silence and thinking: what was that connection it's so weird I have never felt that before even when I bullied her in 9th grade*
Nurse:"TRENT!!!!"
Trent:*silence*
Nurse:"oh god I have no choice but to do this now..."*steps on his foot*
Trent:"OUCH WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!"*eyes turn to the color of his wolf eyes*
Nurse:"sorry I had to do it you weren't answering and you were spacing out a lot"
Trent:"geez it's nothing I'm fine"
Nurse:"well then I'll have to report this to you father and...your mom"
Trent:*looks at her angry*"speak of this to anyone I'll grab your neck and kill you"
Nurse:"then start talking you moron of a idiot cousin!!!!"
Trent:*grrr but calms down*"I felt a connection with the stupid girl from 9th grade"
Erick:"ew"
Nurse:"you mean the girl who you used to bully a lot until Brandon brown grab you by the neck and you fought with him"
Erick:"wait her????"
Trent:"yes and I heard her and Brandon talking about the teacher setting them up for me so they can tutor me in science and well any other subject"
Nurse:"well that's good cause you have awful grades"
Trent:"hmmm *angry* anyway I was thinking if I start going then I'll see what's the fucking connection I just had with her so then maybe I can either avoid her or well I don't know make her move schools"
Nurse:*was taking notes all along of what Trent was saying*"well sounds to me like you are nuts meaning cucu and crazy"
Trent:"geeez so nice of you"
Nurse: "your welcome little cousin"
Trent:"ew don't call me that please"
Nurse:"too bad your stuck with it...cousin"
Erick:" Okay okay!!! So...my comment now...dude you must be crazy if you actually thinking of getting close to that ugly ass girl"
Nurse:"oh come on she's not ugly. She's actually pretty half the boys have been checking her out secretly especially that Brandon guy I heard he has a mayor crush on her"
Trent:*growls and shows teeth*
Nurse:"whoa wow that's a first from you"
Trent:"I got to go tell my teachers I got some sickness and you told me to go home"
Erick:"what the?? What the hell was that??"
Nurse:"don't know but I'm reporting this to his mom maybe she would know"
Erick:"he would kill you"
Nurse:"he can try but it won't work"
Erick:"true anyway byeeeee"
Nurse:"see ya idiot"
ELENA P.O.V
Elena:"I'm so tired so glad we can go home early, you guys wanna come over for dinner with me and my parents well adoptive parents"
Brandon:"sure"
Susan:"sorry I have to study"
Elena:"we could have a sleep over then in my place and study"
Susan:"really?!? YES I can finally sleep in that heavenly couch bed"
Brandon:"I feel like you have a crush on her couch"
Susan:"it's super comfy..if you slept on it you would have fallen for it too and by the way I'll come over for dinner to your house or well adoptive parents house Elena"
Elena:"great we can head directly to my apartment so we can shower Susan and Brandon we meet you there"
Brandon:"sure but have you call your parents to let them know?"
Elena:"I'll text mom when I get home and tell her I'll head there later"
Both:"cool then"
Susan:"let's get going then"
Elena:"yup bye Brandon"
Brandon:"bye Elena"
Susan:"BYE big head!!!/lover boy!!!"
Brandon:*sweatdrops heads to his car*
Elena:"I never get why you call him lover boy"
Susan:"oh believe me you don't want to know yet"
Elena:"okay anyway how's you know...*gets into Susan is car* your crush with Brandon going??"
Susan:"oh you know it's going good, already confessed to him"*starts driving to Elena's apartment*
Elena:"WHAT?! Really when??"
Susan:"last night....he rejected me though so I got drunk that's why I woked up late today and couldn't take you to school*
Elena:"omg so are you...?"
Susan:"giving up?? Yeah probably there's not much I can do since he loves another girl"
Elena:"but I mean you shouldn't give up so easily you loved him ever since you guys were in middle school right? So try again"
Susan:"Nah if I keep on trying and he ends up with who he likes or actually loves then I'm never gonna hear the end of it and I'll regret not giving up sooner so that's why we got to do something this weekend so you can help me forget"
Elena:"sure anything to help really but I don't know what can I do to help"
Susan:"tell you what how about this weekend we go shopping and gym to check out amazingly cute boys?"
Elena:"sure"
Susan:"that way you find a match and I find a match and we both be dating"
Elena:"hmmmm oki I guess that would be fun"
Susan:"great great"
*they get to Elena is place in no time*
Elena:"you go first since you take forever in a shower"
Susan:"alright"*goes and takes a shower*

Elena:*textes Lilly and tells her...: hey how you been mom? I'll be coming over today to make dinner and I'll have Susan and Brandon over too, hope that's okay*
Lilly:*replies in no time: of course sweetie, glad you'll be joining us for dinner I'll tell your father"
Elena:*smiles and replies: see ya in a bit mom"
Lilly:*replies: see you later too sweetie your dad would be super happy too*

Elena:"*goes and takes a shower finishes quickly and they head out to Lilly and Edgar's house*"

Elena:*opens door to the house*"hey mom hey dad!"
Lilly:"hey sweety! *hugs her* so glad to see you!"
Edgar:"hey little one how's things going?"
Elena:"good good not so bad"
Brandon:"hey! I got here a bit early thinking you guys were here already"
Elena:"that's okay hope dad didnt give you a hard time hahaha"
Susan&Lilly:"omg don't remind us hahahah"
Elena:"that day was actually funny"
Edgar:"hey I had to make sure if he was good for you...as a friend"
Elena:"suuuuuurrrrreeeee dad. Face it you were super overprotective that day"
Edgar:"you can't blame me!"
Brandon:"that's true you are his only daughter so he obviously had to be overprotective of you"
Edgar:"thank you finally someone who gets me"
Lilly:"awwww sweetie we get you too but let's face it you scared Brandon and all of us that day"*kisses his cheek*

Elena:"heheh alright let's go to the kitchen I'm cooking today"
Edgar:"oh oh she's gonna poison us"
Susan:"I'll order pizza just in case later then"

*eveyone laughs and have a good time, Elena cooks a good meal that night that everyone enjoy and liked, they all talked and laugh through dinner and she they finished they hang out some more by 9pm everyone went home and Lilly and Edgar went to bed, Elena and Susan did a sleep over in Elena is apartment to helped Susan study, they went to bed and Brandon went home to and fell asleep the moment he changed his cloth*
