Fiona starts stuttering which got Eva amazed.
"J..Jared... you're here".
Eva glanced around, twisting her fingers together. People were staring at Jared in awe and fear.
Even Emily and Alen..their jaws dropped immediately he appeared in the cafeteria. But most importantly, no one dared make eye contact with him.
Jared doesn't reply neither does his gaze move from Eva.
Eva almost died as her green face turn a pumpkin color. His eyes were so blue it felt like they was piercing into very heart, finding her soul to rip apart. She gulped.
She wished she was in a better condition to face this beauty god.
She was in a guacamole situation for Christ sake. She was looking like a mess , standing next to Jared, she felt like his maid.
Why was he looking at her anyway
"It's not what you think..." Fiona said, voice a sweet tone. "She was being rude and repellant...I had to show her her place"
Eva squeezed her face in anger.
"My place? The only place I'm meant to be is in the Principal's office for snapping your neck". Everyone in the cafeteria gasped. She had the audacity to talk back at Fiona.
Fiona showed a look of shock like she didn't expect her to still talk back at her. She shook in anger but Eva was smart enough to realize that in the presence of this person, she behaved like a little tamed innocent lamb. Pathetic.
She rolled her eyes but suddenly froze when she noticed an arm reach out for her.
The male vampire was offering her his hand to help her up.
The cafeteria exploded into another rumble of murmurs.
Eva felt reluctant but then her eyes was lost in his eyes and she didn't know when she took his hand and let him lift her off the ground, guacamole dripping down her hair to the tiled ground.
Eva had to admit, Fiona's face looked really funny now.
She was boiling inside but she tried to force a smile...so she really looked funny.
She pursed her lips together as she forced herself to hold in her laughter which made her stomach ache.
Feeling the gazes of several students, she lowered her head feeling uncomfortable with the guaco on her face and hair.
Her hands were still in his but before she could pull it out, he teleported and the two of them appeared in the boys locker room?!
She looked around and then at him in panic and confusion.
He had released her and was searching a drawer for something.
Why did he bring her here???
It was break so the locker room was empty.
She fiddled with her fingers as she looked at him.
He turned to her and handed her a towel.
"Thank you" She said quietly, smiling gratefully at him.
She turned away from him, wiping her face and hair.
"Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill you right now". He suddenly demanded.
She froze with the towel on her hair.
She turned to him. Not only was she surprised by the question but his voice....
Gosh...it was like a mixture of sexy and dangerous.
Her knees felt weak just hearing him talk.
Wait...what did he just say...
"What?"
"You're the blood granddaughter of Shirmona Harris...are you not?"
"Y..yes" She said.
Her eyes were buried deep in his as he talked, she didn't know when she started ruffling her hair with the towel.
"We're natural enemies and yet you're brave enough to walk into a midst of Vampires, fairies and Elves. Right now you're locked in a room with a Vampire. Why shouldn't I kill you now I have the chance.."
He raised a brow.
Her heart skipped a bit as she just stood there gaping at him.
He looked like he was joking but his voice sounded serious.
She gulped as she finally found her tongue
"B..b..because...I'm a good witch"
"You expect me to believe that?"
"I'm nothing like my grandmother"
"You don't know that".
She just looked at himnin disbelief.
"So you know much about me than myself".
He smirked and her heart skipped a beat again
"Why does your heart keep pounding like that...." He teased and she felt her face color up again.
She pushed the towel into his hands and look away.
She caught sight of herself in the mirror.
Her hair was a mess
"Gosh" She starts brushing her hair with her hands intending to pull it into a bun. She was so focused on her hair she forgot about Jared and backed him. "My hair is a mess"
"Leave it that way....you're beautiful with your hair down"
She suddenly stopped and looked at his reflection to see any sign that he was joking but aside the mischievous glint in his eyes, he was serious.
"Are you a prince?"
She had to ask knowing fully well that Simone was the only child.
He smirked
"I'm flattered. Do you really think I look like a prince".
She turned to him.
"Can you stop being narcissistic..I'm serious. I saw the way Fiona looked at you earlier. Everyone felt so intimidated by your presence".
He just kept looking at her, not saying anything.
Finally he did.
"Just because I helped you doesn't make you less of my enemy...I just liked the way you stood up to Fiona today...but just know that my eyes are on you....". He starts leaving the locker room with his hands on his pockets depicting a calm dangerous aura. "..Oh and If you so much as try to do anything stupid while you're here, you'll know who I really am"
He turned to look at her, smiling while baring his fangs at her but this time her gaze wasn't on his fangs.
She was looking into his eyes which had turn from blue to a flaming yellow color.
Her lips parted lightly to say something but he teleported from the room leaving her there standing and wondering where she had ever seen a Vampire's eyes change color.
This was no ordinary vampire
