Chapter 41: I Think You Have To Find Someone Else To Ride The Bike With You

Throughout the day, Hisaki couldn't concentrate much on her tasks. She needed to take a short break from time to time just so she could gather her senses. Fortunately, she managed not to make any mistakes.

"Hisaki, are you alright? You seem kinda off today," Kiyomi's voice broke Hisaki's reverie, "Are you sick?"

Because her work desk was opposite Hisaki's, the latter's troubled expression was clear in her eyes. It was unlike Hisaki to space out when working.

Despite being a newcomer, Hisaki could easily pick up anything they taught her. She was also diligent and easy to get along with, making the others in the office pleased with her appearance.

"Sorry, I'm sorry," Hisaki lowered her head in hushed shame. She smoothed her side bangs in an attempt to calm herself. An excuse flowed out of her mouth, "I'm not sick. Maybe... because it's too hot, today?"
