Chapter 73: Chapter 73 Caused An Uproar

Caroline smiled at her, handed the microphone back to the host, and turned away to walk back to her seat. 

"Caroline, didn't you say that you have a better pursuer? Why didn't I see anyone coming with you today then?" Loraine asked persistently. 

She knew that the pursuer Caroline mentioned must be Eddison. However, she was certain that someone like him would never accompany her to attend a wedding like this.

Everyone who was present thought that Caroline had only mentioned that to make herself look less embarrassed. However, she did not expect Loraine to ask Caroline about her pursuer in detail.  

The crowd seemed to become more and more lively. The audience could not take their eyes off the two women as they regarded them with great interest. They all turned to look expectantly at Caroline and waited to hear her answer.
