Chapter 54: Chapter 54 Such A Spendthrift

Caroline was already long gone when Karen finally lost control of her temper. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists while stomping her feet in rage. 

... Caroline Simons! Karen would never let her walk into this office ever again! It was hers! 

After Caroline left the company, she didn't go back to the Zellweger family villa directly. Instead, she went to a nearby café and ordered herself a glass of juice. After sitting there for more than half an hour, she got up and left.

Beryl was a little surprised to see her return at noon.

Caroline just explained, "It's Friday today. I don't have anything to do in the company, so I came back earlier."

"That's good. Since you are pregnant, it's better for you to rest more, especially for the first three months. That's the most important phase," Beryl advised her. 

Since Eddison was not at home, she was less reserved when speaking.

Caroline had of course noticed it. She smiled and said nothing.
