Eddison didn't say anything else. Right after dinner, the baby woke up.
However, he didn't cry as he was just staring curiously at Eddison and Caroline with his big eyes.
Soon after, the baby was hungry. He pouted and was about to cry.
Caroline picked him up and looked towards Eddison, indicating for him to leave.
The situation was similar to the previous night. Thus, he couldn't refuse to leave.
Without hesitation, he nodded. "Honey, I'll leave first then."
He took a large step forward and wrapped one of his arms around her shoulder, and the other below the baby's body. She was caught off guard as he planted a kiss on her forehead.
He quickly stepped back and looked at the baby in her arms. "Baby, I'll leave first and I'll come back home tomorrow night to accompany you. Be good and don't let your mom get too tired."
Without taking a look at Caroline, he turned to leave.
