Caroline decided to discharge herself from the hospital the day after her baby was removed from the incubator in the NICU.
The next morning, she woke up relatively early. After having breakfast, she started packing her belongings and prepared for her discharge.
At 9 a.m., Claudia came over and helped her with the packing.
They were almost done when Henric and Beryl arrived at her ward. Beryl even brought a bouquet of fresh flowers.
"Madam, let us bring you and the young master back home," she said.
Claudia gave Caroline a questioning glance. Didn't Caroline say that she wouldn't head back?
"Thank you for your flowers, Beryl, but I'm not going back today. Miss Murphy is here to take care of my discharge. You and Henric can just return to your work," Caroline stated.
