Caroline heard what Loraine said.

As the phone was on speaker, the others also heard it too.

The corners of Calvin's mouth twitched slightly, and he didn't know how to respond.

Caroline shrugged and looked at him. She was telling him to decide if she should apologize. She wasn't bothered about such a request.

She simply brushed it off, but Calvin was already breaking down mentally. He had just made a promise that he wouldn't force her to apologize to Loraine again.

Yet, Loraine called asking for an apology.

All eyes were on him. Although they didn't know what actually happened, they all knew that Calvin could decide if Caroline should apologize to the other woman over the phone.

With a questioning gaze from Caroline, he felt stressed. 

Although she didn't say anything, he felt more pressured under her gaze.
