"Is that so?" Eddison touched her cheeks. He wasn't sure if he believed Caroline's words or not.
Not asking any further, he took her hand and went into the house.
"Are you hungry? Or what drink would you like to have?" He asked.
"How do you know I'm thirsty? The food outside doesn't taste as good as the food at home, but I still ate a lot. I'm not hungry, but I'm a little thirsty. I want to have some grapefruit," Caroline said.
"Okay, I'll get it for you."
He brought her the grapefruit and cut it in half. He took out a spoon and scooped it for her, just like how they used a spoon to eat a watermelon.
