There were various ways to quit and join another company, yet Lynn chose to leave at the most critical time and joined their rival instead.

"Miss Simons, why didn't you say anything? I'm so mad at her. You treated her so well back then, but look at her now!" Shirley said.

"What else can I say? She made a choice to leave us. If I still act like I can't get over this, then it will only show that I'm a sore loser. I believe Mr. Lanes handed over the strategic planning department to Karen because he wanted to prove that Neon could get through this. If so, then we should be more confident in Neon," Caroline said.

Giving Shirley a comforting smile, Caroline patted her shoulder before finding seats for themselves. She was no longer concerned about Lynn's whereabouts.
